The Catalan declartion of independence was a rsolution that was passed by the Parliament of Catalona. wich declared the independence of Catalonia from Spain and founding of an independent Catalan Republic. but it never received international recognition.

- Fictional story
The Spanish government caved in and got to much internal problems within Spain, the government had no other options to accept the declaration of the independent Catalan Republic. Spanish La Liga changed up the rules for this historical event. Allowing Catalan clubs to continue in Spanish leagues/cups. Basicly the same type of rule that allows Swansea from Wales play in english leagues, and Monaco play in French leagues. Other news, nation of Andorra shockingly joined Catalonia instead of being independent.

• Andorra is replaced by the new nation of Catalonia.
  
• All players/non-players born within Catalonia will now have Catalan nationality and will be available for the Catalonian National Team.
  
• International players will have their caps and goals zeroed.
  
• Stadiums within Catalonia will change nationality from Spanish to Catalan.
  
• Clubs within Catalonia will generate Catalan players and not Spanish players.
