This guide is to show you the basics of Spectre and to show how situational her items are. But you'll have to know what items are needed to suit her current situations wether that be survivability or DPS.

Genral Overview- Spectre is a very hard carry who requires a fair bit of items before you starts to become a threat. But by saying this, she has global presence (Thanks to her ult) which allows her to take apart in team fights even while she is farming on the other side of the map. She also has the ability to chase down heroes with her dagger. Spectre doesn't particulary have the best stat game compared to other carrys, and is very squishy during the laning phase. A simple stun with a follow up nuke will usually result in death in most situations.

Friends of Spectre- Spectre loves supports that can net her easy kills in the early laning stage. Examples would include Venomancer with his slows, Vengeful Spirit with her stun and negative armor, and Crystal Maiden with basically everyone of her spells. Special mention must go out to Spirit Breaker and Zeus thanks to there global presence which will assist spectre on getting kills with her ultimate.

Foes of Spectre- Spectre absolutey hates disablers and burst damage heroes. This would include Lion, Shadow Shaman and Lina with there disables and burst damage. She also doesn't like to go against carrys that can out carry her with equal farm like Faceless Void, Anti Mage and Lifestealer.
