Description
Zephyr’s Trail is a map based in Northern California. I took some features from Mendocino (the Russian Gulch Bridge and Big River Beach) and modeled the forests around the redwood forests of NorCal. The name comes from the California Zephyr, because I wanted this map to be really train focused, with some bridges and such.
You need Mass Transit for all the roads. You don’t NEED Parklife but there’s some detailing using the fences and paths from it.

Features:
Roads: The main highway is a four-lane coastal road that is inspired by the PCH (Pacific Coastal Highway), which connects to the start square. There’s also a national road that comes through the mountains and connects to the main highway at the eastern edge of the map. There’re also two bridges: a vanilla bridge modeled somewhat on the Big River Bridge, and bsquiklehausen’s Bay Bridge.
Rail: There’s three rail connections: one at the north-end of the map, and two along the main highway. There’re also some bridges: all of them use the Rainbow Bridge asset by Jerenable. One is inspired by the Russian Gulch Bridge, and another by the train bridges in GTA V.
Water: There’s a lake in the north-west corner of the map, the ocean at the bottom, and a river linking the two. The start square has access to the river.

Notes:
There is a one click collection for all the required assets. You might also want to use the Unlimited Trees Mod, because there are about 215,000 trees on the map already, so you’ll only be able to place 35,000 more.

The recommended theme and LUT are Owl's Los Angeles and the Relight Bleak LUT. Here are some settings for Ultimate Eyecandy:

Global Light Intensity: 5.7
Ambient Light Intensity: 0.8

WARNING: The game seems to be doing some weird things with pillars on the rail bridges. Even though the vanilla pillars aren't there in the map editor, they're spawning in-game. Sorry if that happens to you; I really don't know how to fix it.

Also, since the map is named after a train, it’s only fair to include some custom trains. I’ve linked some made by bsquiklehausen here:
