From what I could see just from looking at the Start menu from the Post-Schism start dates, Orthodox provinces are still Chalcedonian. And as for the Pre-Schism start dates, are there supposed to be any Catholic provinces? Or are they all supposed to be Chalcedonian?

Okay, so I actually just tested in observer mode from the 936 start date, and the schism did happen, but I generally play from 769, and it's never happened for me there.

So what actually causes the Great Schism? There's really not a lot of information about it on this page other than saying it's a thing.

Does this mod actually have a working great schism mechanic? I've been using this for most of my saves, but the Great Schism has never actually happened for me; it just stays united Chalcedonian. And that's a bit immersion-breaking, and makes me want to stop using the mod if it's not actually even possible for the schism to happen.

What mods is this compatible with? Will A.D. 633 Rise of Islam and Ancient Religions Reborn and Expanded work with this one?

@IhateTrains [only dust2] While I'm not all that interested in HIP I'd be interested in the files, I feel like it could make for an interesting project in my spare time.
