"Keen made another update to the game with little content of the same old stuff but crammed LOADS of it behind DLC. Worse of all its been blocks we been asking for years like new cockpit and than they jab at modders by taking mods and making it their own thing and shoving behind DLC.
I just think this "Space Engineers - Decorative Pack #2" update was ridiculous 10% of its content is just boring same stuff we had while 90% was content we been asking for years even in their suggestion site! Game is still lifeless and dull,Contracts feel like a boring chore, and planets are empty and barren while space is FILLED resources. Instead of fixing the game and adding new game changing content their going to focus on X box...a bare bone version. No workshop/mods, no-crossplay(x box people really want this for some reason) and most likely a VERY limited world with strict PCU. Where pretty much their going to realize how boring the vanilla game is.
With all this DLC you would think something amazing would been added to the game but no we get more DLC and LOTS of it. I made suggestions for functional npcs both drone and npc bots, Contracts having more engaging objectives, and lot of work done on Engineer combat-wise also Temperature is a huge joke in this game... I really would love to see PVE have a HUGE focus and please stop adding hard codes that kills mods or make impossible to make new mods! I just really hope that all this DLC actually improve the game in the future but right now I'm losing hope. Even Medieval Engineers has more polish than Space Engineers...

Few suggestions I think will help the game.

In my opinion, S.E. is better than games like, lets say, Brick rigs (not to hurt the devs feelings) but, at least this game ain't like B.R. where they only get one update a, idk, a decade? But what Im saying is that we should appreciate what we have, and I agree with The Resurrector, it takes time to make stuff, and mostly everything in this, the comments, is mostly about how slow it is to get a BIG update (or something like that), oh, and one thing, don't waste ur money on the (in my opinion) most dead game in the world, Brick Rigs, as I said, only gets an update about every decade

come into the real world dude it takes time and effort and as for ME they had this game to basis from as to how they wanted everything to play out, the only difference being you dont need a straw roof on your damn space ship....the devs at keen are working hard f***ing appreciate that s**t, if you want a mod to work then fix it, its your mod not keens, hell i bet if people had to buy your mod through steam like skyrim tried in 2015 youd be all over that like a damn rash charging each person 3.99 to have the ability to download it and then another 4.99 just to update it

you're forgetting this was and is the first game of its type there will be a lot to sort out, alot to debug and alot to aspire too but a small priced dlc is all it'll cost. if you want a world where everything is free go play minecraft, and they cant work around every mod in existence for this game and keen have asked for permission to use someones mod for the game. they get hundreds of suggestions and they cant make them all due to hard coding and weeks of creating. they have nothing to go off of and are listening to people, but you expect something to be designed, modeled, coded and implemented almost instantly?

Well, I mean, yeah it doesn't have much content, if your standing at that point. But really, if they release a few dlcs to spice up the game giving die hard fans things that they really want (like the grated catwalks and stairs) isn't bad for the game. You're bound to steady out with sales of the game, and even decline due to everyone having it. Instead of begging for donations to keep themselves "alive" or creating things like SE2, they decided to make it more fun to play as well as creating dlcs that improve overall experience.
If you want to see a dying game franchise that has to constantly throw out expensive dlcs, then go check out Planet Coaster (they're even making a "sequel" called Planet Zoo)

Space Engineers is on a steady run through content, cosmetic and stability updates. Having to pay literally a few bucks every now and then should neither be an issue for anyone nor be considered any sort of greed. Games will always reach a point where new sales drop and if you critics do not want "Space Engineers 2" to be released, forcing you to buy a whole new game, this way of continued finance is one of the best options available. Especially because the DLC prices are low.

I can no longer recommend Space Engineers. The constant DLCs is really messing the community up (by that, I mean splitting it), and it also looks like whenever they release a new update, they release a new DLC, which breaks things. Maybe if they clean up their act, then I will reconsider SE.

Yeah its funny, but its also not a problem at all...

Uh, you dont have to buy bla bla. OKAY, lets continue playing with 2014 blocks! F.U.N.

Isn’t that funny that if you want any kind of change you have to pay for it?!
