-You enter the aircraft under the front wheel well-

This is the J-542-C "Cargomaster" cargo aircraft. It is the upgraded version of my Jumbo 142 "Albatross" as that one is depricated.

The updated Cargomaster has a wider body, better engines, bigger fueltank which gives it a longer range and better fuel efficiency, updated flight systems and avionics. It is in my hope that i managed to create a better cargo aircraft that which can transport bigger, and heavier cargo all together.

This aircraft features a HFC, or High Fidelity Cockpit, which is a cockpit setup that tries to imitate the real life counterpart cockpit you'll find in most from 2C to 4E class aircraft. It does not simulate every single aspect of the real life counterpart, but as a standard for Stormworks it holds up.

This aircraft features as follows:

  • High Fidelity Cockpit
  • Altitude Hold
  • Heading Hold (Currently Bugged)
  • Pilot-to-Pilot control switch with a push of a button
  • Total Fuel Control
  • Fire Suppression System
  • Glass Instruments (Courtesy by the great PenguinO)
  • Glass Aircraft Environment (Courtesy by the great jbaker96)
  • Aircraft Annunciator
  • Master Warning System (Courtesy by AUSBHUB and Krail)

Copy\paste incoming:
I have implemented PenguinO's radio navigation system, but that stands as a placeholder, for now atleast until ive gotten an understanding of composite radios which i still havent gotten the hang of sadly.

I am sure i'll add more systems to the aircraft as i go, however i wanted to get the creation flight- and workshop ready.

As an ending note, i want to thank the ever unending dedication to the developers of Stormworks for giving us regular updates nearly every week, and the recent performance update which made this creation possible, and with any luck and more dedication, more to come.

If you have any questions about the Cargomaster, @ me on the Stormworks Discord, @Tesla, or comment below.

Cheers

When it's flying, it uses up the fuel extremely fast and drifts counterclockwise.

Hello.

I am aware the aircraft is a bit buggy after the last few updates, aswell as the new large fan turbine engines have been revised, I'm working to make it flyable again. I'm also adding a few new systems to it.

Have fun!
