I found an old merge (forums.taleworlds.com/index.php?topic=142816.0) of Diplomacy and PBOD which doesn't require WSE. It's the link Diplo 4.2 merger with v0.92 in that thread. I managed to get it working for the current Steam version of the game so I thought I'd share since I've been unable to find anything like it.

All credit for this mod goes to the original creators of the Diplomacy mod, PBOD mod and the guy who did the merging!

Saves seems to be compatible with the Diplomacy mod here in the Workshop so you can simply copy them over (the saves are located in your document folder). Note that your staff, i.e. chamberlain etc., might require being rehired from your emisarry if you do.

Important notice

Since I literally didn't do any coding for this I won't be able to fix any potential bugs and I won't update it, add anything to it or maintain it in any way. This mod is strictly as is.

In case you want to tinker the guy who did the merge were kind enough to include the source files which can be found here: <path to Steam install>\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\48700\1839586330\Diplo42+PBOD92_ModSys.rar

Your link of the old merge was blocked and flagged as malicious by Steam.

I just got that same glitch with the speed boost and I feel like I now have to throw away all the hours I put into my game, because I do not want to play like that. This mod is stupidly glitched in a number of areas, and the only reason I use it is because the camera is better than standard Diplomacy. I don't care anymore, I'm going back to the old mod and I'll just not use the camera at all.

does this require wse as i am constantly getting eroor script codes

Getting a bug and don't know if it's related to this mod (only one I use).
After retreating or escaping capture several times, the speed boost you get in map travel is permanent.
Anyone experience this or have any idea how to fix it?
