Description
**********************
This mod requires Dawnguard, of course!
**********************
Replicator is a mod that allows all those regular smithys to create (forge) replica unique armor and weapons without any enchantments, for example Auriel's Bow. The reason behind this mod was to allow players to enchant these specialty items to suit their own play style. This mod is not only a spiritual successor to the massively famous and great mod "Forger", but I am trying to truly continue in it's spirit. Pagann has stopped working on the original, so I try to pick up where he left off, with his permission, of course.
(That's why I will use "we" for the following parts of text, to honour his contribution!)

Please don't forget to rate this mod if you liked it.

A true mastersmith should be able to replicate stuff he has held in his hands, right? The armor and weapons that are made craftable by this mod require a smithing perk of some kind, clothes do not require any smithing perks.

However, each item requires a specific quest to be completed (!!!)
before it will appear in the smithing category at the forge. We made the decision to restrict them by quest to ensure that the player had at least obtained, or had otherwise been exposed to the original before crafting copies.

How can you forge a replica of something that you have never seen?

We will not document which quests will open up these recipies (Spoilers, duh!).

A comment on the new Falmer Armor, Dawnguard Armor and Vampire Armor which have been added by the DLC: I did'nt add this to the mod, since they are relatively easily obtainable ingame, so making them craftable didn't seem as relevant and not as urgent as the truly unique items. If there are enough requests (4 or 5 x-D ) I'll add them anyway.

Just because we don't want to give away the quests doesn't mean we won't give up the perks though. Here's the list of items with the smithing category and perk required:

Auriel's Shield - Elven Smithing
Auriel's Bow - Elven Smithing
Harkon's Sword - Steel Smithing
Ivory (Ancient Falmer) Armor - Elven Smithing
The Ivory Crown is found in the "Jewelry" category, as it is a circlet and as such, not armor.

NEW!!!
As per request:
Dawnguard Full Helmet - Steel Smithing
Dawnguard Light Helmet - Steel Smithing
Dawnguard Shield - Steel Smithing
ATTENTION: The items are found in the "Misc" Category of the forge menu!
-> If requests don't convince me otherwise, these will of course be only available if you side with the Dawnguard.

So, next try. Found something big and it definitely wasn't just you. I guess it should be fixed now. Thanks a lot again for finding the bug.

Unfortunately, it didn't fix it, but I guess I can just avoid the armor if it's just me. Thanks anyway.

Tried something. Hopefully it'll help.

Okay, found the problem. For some reason, the armor created by the crafting recipe is a armor with a random enchantment (like from the leveled lists for chests and other loot). However, I can't find the problem on my side, since all references in the crafting recipe are to the modified (unenchanted and enchantable) version of the armor. I can only assume that load order somehow mucked up the ref-ids. I'll keep looking.

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=429007819 Well here's an image of the royal armor not having any description on it.

When I try to craft it, it's invisible in the player inventory but the refid can be seen using the inv console command as seen here

I tried reinstalling the mod and disabling most other mods as well, but still didn't work. Thanks for looking into it though.

Sorry, but I can't find any problem so far.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll look into it.

I am not sure if anyone else is having this bug, but the Vampire Royal Armor seems to have no stats in its item description and does not appear in the player inventory when crafted.

I actually understand, I am not very fond of the dawnguard armors or the regular vampire armor to be honest (And you are right vampire lord armor is awesome, thanks), and since it is not really that hard to get them in game it might not be worth the effort. Although I do like the weapons the dawnguard use (the ax and the hammer), craftable versions of those would be really appreciated. I do like the falmer gear but as mentioned it is not that hard to get in game, I only mentioned it beacuse it would make sense for a "forger" to be able to produce those. Regular crossbows sound like a good idea too, after all the special ones are already quest locked by the game, and regular ones should not be so special that only vampire hunters can use them. To me it is that kind of thing that makes the experience more immersive, again, really appreciate the answer, thanks.
