Winter Wyvern is a hero that is capable of long range, high physical damage, flash farming, controlling team fights, and saving teammates, this guide will help show you how to play her!

She is also difficult to master, so make sure to get some practice rounds in before taking this to ranked games!

Some important general notes!

~ Talk with your team to figure out when the best time to ult is, usually it will be at the start of a fight, but your ult has many other uses you can take advantage of! (Check out the ability description to read more)

~ This guide will recommend that you skill Winter's Curse at level 11, I personally think that having Artic Burn and Splinter Blast maxed, and the +60 damage talent are way more valuable in the first 15 minutes of the game. If you find yourself struggling however you can pick up the Ultimate earlier.

~ Careful when playing against illusion based heroes, usually if you can target the true enemy, the illusions will put in a lot of work... but if you misclick and ult an illusion...

~ Once you have the Agh's / Bloodstone combo- abuse that limitless flight for as much as you can, side push lanes from trees, attack enemies from across the river or from high up on a cliff, flying up to ward spots can give you good sight for the surrounding area- especially when combo-ed with your excellent night vision.

~ Constantly use Artic Burn while laning, this will keep the opponent away from the creep wave, and at lower HP to be more afraid of your Splinter Blast.

~ While flying with Artic Burn you can cross Mar's Arena of Blood

~ Winter Wyvern really likes to play with:
- Drow Ranger (More attack speed is always welcome)
- Crystal Maiden (Early mana regen allows you to spam Splinter Blast more in lane)
- Tanky / Front Liner teammates
- Heroes that have huge team fight ults such as Enigma or Earth Shaker

~ Winter Wyvern really DOESN'T like to play against:
- Oracle (can easily save anyone through Winter's Curse if not caught by it)
- Enchantress (can easily out DPS your Cold Embrace, and is very hard to attack with your rather weak attack speed)
- Morphling (can copy your Artic Burn to become really scary!)
- Heroes that can easily close gaps or use invisibility to sneak into the back lines
