Description
If you're using both SFO: Grimhammer II and All Faction Officers Revisited, you need to use this submod to ensure both mods work correctly. The mod tables should automatically overwrite those of the other two mods but you can also manually make sure this submod is higher in the load order than either Revisited or SFO.

What it does

This compatibility submod allows you to see the officer entities in All Faction Officers Revisited while keeping the units stats the same as they are in SFO: Grimhammer II.

Why it does it

Due to internal structure of the game's files, a mod that adds in the officer entities into the units will also have to determine many of the battle stats of that unit. That is why without a submod like this one for SFO, you would either have the units with correct SFO values but without the officers, or have the officers but the units would have vanilla values.

Thanks for the report! It's something that got ported over when I built the mod on the foundation of the previous officers mod but I haven't been able to find what's causing it. :/

For me tomb king officers have the light blue ghost texture when zoomed out, but look correct when you get closer.

Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately no, the officers overwrite the standard bearers. There might be a way to get them to work together (which would be my preferred option), but it would require significant restructuring of the officer mods so I haven't had the time for it. If I happen to have more time, energy and interest later I will probably look into it again though, now that SFO isn't getting new updates for game two there's a very stable environment to play around and test things.

But for now, if the unit has officers they will overwrite the standard bearers EXCEPT for the Empire, which mostly has standard bearers because I think they're awesome and fit the faction well. With other factions I had a slight preference for the officers so I kept them in place.

Thanks for update! SFO already has battle standard bearers, does this work with it? If I have this and SFO at same time, units will get both standard bearers and officers added by this mod?

it took me longer than I expected to find the time to finish it, but here we are:

Updated for the Last Kiss!

Added a officers to a few of the SFO Skaven campaign units.

Everything should be up-to-date. I only did some cursory testing, do let me know if you notice something being off or encounter issues.

Thanks for letting me know! I suspect it's due to one of the naming conventions SFO changed for this update, I'll keep my eyes peeled for it. Since the mod's not functioning correctly I will put extra thought to updating it ASAP :lunar2019piginablanket:

As a reminder for everyone: You can deactivate both officers mods for now and just reactivate then when I upload the updated SFO version, no need to start a new campaign to use it.

The mod needs an update to be in line with the current version of SFO II (Last Kiss), but the changes I've come across now don't seem to game breaking thus far. I'll work towards an update as my schedule allows but if you do keep using the mod while you wait, let me know if you run into noticeable issues :cleancake:

Updated!

Went through all the tables and made sure everything is up to SFO's current standards. You should be able to continue your existing campaign with no problems.

I also gave Mors clanrats their officers, they were sorely needing some.
