drow ranger support
By suggestiveword83
you fool, you've been carrying drow the whole time? drow is only meant as a support, leave the carrying for the carries. your starting items are for your team, not yourself, unless you absolutely need them. you want to max your silence and e first, because they are both helpful for your team, your slow is useful only at higher levels, and your ulti is absolutely useless for your team, so don't level it till level 23,24,25. The most important thing to remember is NEVER, and i mean NEVER go mid, worst choice.

i was meaning to change the frost arrows, after all, what is a support without a slow?

But with this skill build, you don't even have Frost Arrows until late, and you have to keep in mind supports are always going to be behind on levels compared to their carries. I think maxing Frost Arrows first gives that strong slow to use, Silence next to max, and then a single point in Precision Aura as falcon suggests, as the scaling is bad. I'd take ulti at the expected levels in my opinion, but getting stats earlier isn't a bad thing. Just imo.

At most probably take 1 level of precision ulti cause the scaling of it is utterly crap and not worth at all taking levels 2,3 and 4 of it. If possible, take 1 level only then max stats after you've max-ed everything out, the extra health and mana pool helps.

the precision aura could be levelled later because it provides a large damage buff to all heroes on your team. However, it might be better to max ulti before precision aura, but you would also want to level stats instead, so the silence and slow will have less affect on the mana pool of drow ranger.

but the thing is you don't really want to be dealing all that much damage early on, the point of drow support is that her q, and w are beneficial to the TEAM, even visage's abilities are beneficial to the team. The slow and the silence are probably better to be levelled quite early on than ulti, because they help for early level kills.

I would not skip ult even if support. It's a large damage buff that allows you to deal high dps through most of the early-mid game without items. Nothing is wrong with a support that can do damage ala Visage.

Ulti isn't useless if you're going for precision aura, since it's based off her agility. Also, precision aura first is pretty crappy, contributes slightly to pushing lanes and you're better off getting the slow first. What's a support without a slow?
