Description
Now presenting the new and improved Rebalanced Military V2

First I'll address the mod splitting. It is simply easier to work with seperated mods. So this mod only affects land units, the naval mod will handle ships, and the projectiles mod will handle projectiles. They will will best all together, but are able to be used seperately for your prefference.

If you have all installed
Arrows are deadlier, ranges are more realistic, guns turn the tide of battle and change how it is fought, siege equipment is actually important, castles are realistically defendable, and units are no longer reduced to a matter of rock paper scissors.

Word of advice, don't bum rush archers.

This mod only
Enjoy more balanced, long, and intense battles, where unit military rank and equipment actually matter. (Yes the yari is underpowered, that is in prep for cavalry)

Current issues
Have not worked on cavalry or heros, it is in the plans but I just haven't figured out a good balance yet so consider that a good cheat against the ai.

@Krzystof Plombus Good catch, not quite a bug. You see, I found out too late, the modding tools did not include the otomo. So mods made without a patch that adds in the otomo leaves all of their special units out. I have not been able to fix the issue because 1, this version of my mod is very out of date and 2, my pc had catastrophic failure. I only just recently got things running again. So expect a V3 when I get the time.

Basically the otomo, being the one clan made for using guns, is the one that gets left out of all my improvements to guns.

I will note that the Date and the Oda benefit the most form my changes to guns. Especially the oda who were historically the ones who truly embraced the gun.

So yeah, sorry about that. I only found out about the otomo issue after I began work on V3, and just before my computer died. V3 was awesome, it blew this mod away. But, sadly, it is lost. So I will have to start from square one.

Hello there,
I wonder if it is a bug, but starting as otomo you already have some Otomo Mathlock Ashigaru. Their stats are broken, like 2 morale, defense and so on etc.
While the imported mathlock ashigaru has far better stats. Is it a bug or was it supposed to be that way?

what is this cavallry problem you're talking about? I'm about to start a new game and your mod looks really interesting but i dont want to end up having to start a new game 30 turns in

To be honest I don't know, I'm not anywhere near the skill level of other modders who might be able to say so. To my best understanding I think this mod or the rename mod may overwrite each other. Region expansions, however, should be fine, though any units added by it will be laughably weak compared to what my mod does. HOWEVER if you want the separate firearms mod only alters projectile files so that SHOULD be compatible.
