[Outdated] Daily Stocks + Stock Price Fix

Leírás
Purpose

Calculates stock changes daily, and fixes the stock prices being always flat or negative.

How to use:

Just install it and load your game!


Special Notes

Note: There is currently no Localization support - only English is supported. Please let me know if you need Localization for your language.

It's important to note, this forces a daily-stock value system into something that is meant to run weekly- This means the graphs will be a little buggy, but everything should work just fine functionally.

Another important note is that the graphs are randomized per-load. This means if you quit and restart, the price history will have changed.


More Information

Every time a game is loaded, a random stock history is generated, and then every day after that the stock prices are adjusted using a relatively simple algorithm to randomly generate stock projections. A volatility score is attached to each competitor, deciding how volatile ("spiky") the stock prices are.

The Dividends Mod grants you dividends (payouts) based on how the company is performing. Your payout is proportional to how much of the stock you own.

Hi all, I haven't had the time to keep this thing updated. I'll schedule some time to install the game and get it updated, though I suspect that Hovgaard will have redone the Stock Market API.

Hey Phatso. I had a little problem. It doesn't work on my version (Version 28). Is that a known issue and already fixing or was that not discovered before?

I've been hesitant to put any work into this because of how regularly the stock system gets changed or reworked. There is an upcoming stocks change planned - I will update this addon (if necessary) afterwards

@Phatso Yes. I think that when it is daily it is harder to make profit because one day it is going straight up and then the other day it is just going down. Maybe you could make a version where it was weekly.
