N.S369 BRs ECML 1960 Deltic Prototype (DP1) Kings Cross High Speed Test

Description
Take your VIPs on the 1960 final test before production, to show how 100mph can be averaged - but not above 101mph.

Route: BR's ECML - London - Peterborough (Workshop)
Duration: 22 minutes Difficulty: Easy
Scenario: Standard
Extra DLC: Deltic Prototype DP1, Flying Scotsman A3, Peppercorn A2, A2 Livery Pack, Thompson B1, A4 Pacifics, Br Class 20, Br Class 31, European Loco & Asset Pack.

Your aim is to reach 100mph as quickly as possible (sticking to all speed restrictions - and watching wheel slip), and then stay on it - or just above at 101mph OK, to impress the VIPs and British Railways Eastern Region, to convince them to build a fleet of locomotives.

Go for it! But not above 101mph.

Built in 1955 for 90mph, it was altered in 1956, with the gearing changed so it could be run up to 106mph.

Hi 360OneShot. First of all you must Subscribe to the Workshop route - you must check you have all the requirements for the route (routes required mostly). You must allow some time for this. You must then Subscribe to the Workshop scenario. You must check you have all the requirements - in this case all the REQUIRED DLC mentioned by me under REQUIRED DLC.
Be aware for this scenario it is a lot.
For a lot of my 1000 workshop scenarios, this will not be necessary. Usually I only use the original Steam / DTG route, and create a scenario.
I hope that helps a little. Please try others of mine - which all start with N.S when doing a search.

Hey, how did you manage to upload a scenario for a workshop route? I've been trying to do it myself but my game doesn't seem to like it

we are the first driver what can use the " new " Deltic Prototype DP1 between so much great steam AI.

the supposed replacement silver rail motors built by tullouck never lived up to their potetial mainly because the vr said at 700 hp thery should pull two trailers but the cooling system would not allow it so most of the time they were on one engine

Great you enjoyed this particular challenge robmerlo. Gives a bit of authenticity to it. I never actually saw this in action, but saw a lot of other prototypes in action. Did you ever see a prototype - that did or did not go into production? One I saw never did, so it was a bit of a special sighting for me.

i really enjoyed the skill needed to keep that speedo locked on 100 mph it got to 101 twice but mostly flicking between 99.9 and the 100.limit
