Description

A multi-area medieval gatebot map (similar to Doppler) created for the Madness vs Machines MvM campaign.

Please keep in mind that the Potato MvM servers have a plugin that allows bots to use weapons other than their melees in medieval MvM. The mission included is designed with this in mind, I'll whip up some missions eventually that aren't so you can use them on any server.

There are multiple things that make this map unique, the major ones being: It being a medieval MvM map, and it includes botattributes. Botattributes allow mission creators to change the attributes of bots in their mission dynamically throughout a wave. This gives immense freedom and variety when creating missions. You can read about it in the All About Botattributes thread.

This is my first map.

No. It's pretty straightforward to install maps, put the .bsp and .nav in your tf/maps folder, put the .pop in tf/scripts/population (create this file path if you need to), and put the icons in tf/materials/hud. All you then need to do is load the map through console.

Any chance of getting a cp or koth version of this, if it can be done? I utterly fail at getting custom maps to load, much less operate on Mann Vs Machine.

I included a download for the Madness vs Machines (MM) icons in the description, and updated the download for all the map files with icons that aren't included in the MM download.
