Description
LB&SCR A1 Class 'Terrier' steam locomotive.

-- Original model by Ian 'ianm42' Morgan for uktrainsim and used with permission (thanks Dad!) --

Converted to Transport Fever by killakanz

Unlocks from 1872 to 1880.

LB&SCR A1 Class, known as the Terriers, were a class of small tank locomotives designed by William Stroudley for workings out of London Bridge and London Victoria. 50 of them were built between 1872 and 1880. 8 of them survive in preservation.
No.55 'Stepney' is currently preserved by the Bluebell Railway.

---------------------------------------------------------

Original model and textures by iam42.

I didn't modify the original model or the textures at all, however a basic, rushed mga texture was added (because TpF really needs that). There are some artefacts present due to TpF's methods of handling transparency, which this model used a lot of to make it optimised for good old MSTS back in 2001!...
I didn't spend a lot of time on this, this was literally one Sunday afternoon porting this. I may make some changes to eliminate those artefacts in the future and improve the overall quality, we'll see...

---------------------------------------------------------

Power: 180
Tractive Effort: 47
Weight: 27.5
Top Speed: 48.28
(game's default units)

Featuring:
-Custom sound effects
-Costs and Price match Transport Fever's finance balancing

@MysteriAnt... It's in the queue. I've got a few mods still to port, but I am porting them all.

May I ask why steam is released from the safety valve all the time?"
Because I have no control over when to stop it. You either have the emissions or don't at all. And going by youtube footage of Terriers, steam comes out of that valve a lot of the time...

Both the smoke emitted from chimney and stream from the safety valve need to be moved upward to correspond with the top of the chimney and safety valve. Otherwise very nice!
A later brown liveried version would also be appreciated.

In what way? Did you check the active years? It's only available between 1872 and 1880, it's not a very long period of availability (unless you have vehicle no end year mod enabled).
I might make the availability period longer...

Nothing wrong with the files. It just seemed to be a momentary glitch on Steam's front-end. Fortunately it kept the description in full formatting in the control panel, so I didn't have to re-write everything for all my items... Backing them up anyway :P

how weird

did you check the files? to make sure it doesn't happen again
