The Beginner's Guide to Nyx Assassin (No Dagon)

This build is garunteed to make your life as Nyx Assassin a fun one. Nyx is a very fun hero to play and definetly puts the hurt out. Follow the build and be patient with your ganks and find the right time to strike and you'll be golden. This build strives away from the build of Dagon. The reason for this is that players will spend a very large amount of gold just upgrading their Dagon. Follow this build and I can guarantee a fun game for you. After all Nyx is my most successful hero after using this build.

Power treads can be a reasonable option. Nyx Assassin however is a very mana-hungry hero as you can see by the cost of his abilities. You only really get the Arcane Boots to keep a sufficient way to have your mana up. If you want to get Power Treads instead, go for it. It'll be easier to play Nyx however if you have a good mana resource which makes Bloodstone a good optional item for the regen.

What about power treads? I like the attack speed and stats, and I also hate arcane boots.

might want to add desolator. minus armor and bonus damage hurts alot.
