VERSION 2025 RELEASED - 10.01.2025





Experience the consequences of the resonance cascade scenario once again, and play as one of Hazardous Environments Combat Unit marines, Steven Mills. You are not a survivor, you are sent on a mission. Secure Black Mesa Research Facility with the rest of your squad and eliminate any hostile forces. This mod is not a recreation of any existing mods. It's my own creation and all maps and plot are being developed by me. You will experience Black Mesa disaster from a perspective of the villains and even see Gordon Freeman in person.

How to install:

Once you subscribe and download the workshop addon navigate to steam/steamapps/workshop/content/362890/1720191293

If there's no 362890 folder, then look in different folders for the mod after subscribing to it. Sorting by date may speed up the process.

Copy bmmilitary and Launch Black Mesa Military.bat (Launch Black Mesa Military oldmenu.bat is optional) files to your
Black Mesa directory (where game .exe file is).
Default game path is: Steam\steamapps\common\Black Mesa\

Run the mod using "Launch Black Mesa Military.bat" file you just copied

Gargantua fight can be finished in several ways, that's why many items were placed in that location. You can find mp5 grenades which are effective against it, also tripmines, you can lead gargantua to blow up the military vehicles which will deal significant damage. There are two rocket turret placed on the bottom level, and throwable satchel charges can be very effective too.

The bossfight with the gargantua seems impossible and using cheats didn't even seem to help. I cannot aim the rocket turret at the gargantua because it just keeps running towards the player and dodging the rockets. Bossfight needs to be either reworked or increase the rocket speed by a lot. Other than that it is a fun mod.

It's really not that hard. Just copying and pasting what this mod contains. It seems the hardest part for people, is locating the mod after subscribing to it.
