How play Half-Life in Widescreen (Fixed FOV)

I just set the widescreen resolution... Ok it is not problem but why i have weapons too close ? ... it was just matter of FOV ...

How fix this problem :

Do u want play Half-life in any widescreen resolution example 720p or 1080p ? I know how to fix Field of View ... Type in game console "default_fov 105" or the value instead 105 that you prefer. If you want permamently set your FOV just find or create autoexec.cfg with Notepad in Steam\SteamApps\common\Half-Life\valve ...open autoexec and add this line "default_fov 105"... now Field of View should be ok... 105 is for 16:9... 100 is for 16:10.

Hello guys I was away for longer time...aaronth07 just set your video from 4:3 to 16:9 and set resolution to 1080p...JShoe4u.. just write default_fov 90 if U want to set it back to normal...

How do I actually play it in 1080p? I don't want to increase my FOV, I just want to play it in 1080p.
