This is the first map that I have ever made for Ravenfield, as well as the first workshop item that I have made (and before you tell me it isn’t, the anime stuff that was made in Left 4 Dead 2 wasn’t made by me, but rather my brother).

Description:

Desert Strike is a desert themed, kind of medium sized map where it pits two teams onto the opposite sides of the map, and four controls points that divide the two in a wavy line. Filled with smooth hills, big rocks, and palm trees, as well as outposts where the control points lie, the two have to use their own arsenal of land vehicles, as well as anti tank launchers, and to take advantage of the land in order to clear each other out, and to dominate the battlefield.

And thanks to a suggestion from someone in the comments, I decided to replace the night mode with a dust storm, which makes the map much foggier, and from what I have played of it, it's actually really cool, and is quite interesting in my opinion. As for the day map, I made the fog there a tinge tan. You will probably not notice it, but it is there.

Note that sometimes the AI can be quite stupid, even if I update the pathfinding, I seemed to get quite annoyed by a fair bit when some vehicles just crash into walls, and can’t seem to find any way to get out, even if I had a pathfinding box that did not allow the vehicles to go through that way, which lead to frustration inside me, so much so that I had to leave space just so a jeep at the Raven outpost can move out of there.

But besides that moment, I honestly had some fun making it back in June, the only reason why I didn’t upload it back then was because I was working on another map, and was a little too anxious. I hope to make more maps in the future, and make some that are more large scale, and more open maps as well.

All good @Cole. I like the new work, and I'll enjoy the map even more now, once I get my upgrade shipped to me (lmao overnight shipping becomes 1-week shipping in VI cargo customs).
Thanks for answering my request!

@Blackout ...I apologize if I made you uncomfortable when seeing that, it was the first time I ever attempted to make a mountain in Unity, and since there wasn't any erosion tool for terrain (unless you buy something off the asset store that includes that, probably, but as for me, I don't have any money as of right now), I decided to call it a day back then, and didn't bother with it until you brought it up. I thank you ever so much for the criticism you gave me. It has helped me a lot.
