New Zealand - Aotearoa 1.0

Description
A perfect scale New Zealand map designed for short / medium length games between two to six players.

Featuring the North and South Islands as the primary landmasses, with key chokepoints in the South Island, and a third territory in the Chatham Islands to the west. Terrain and flora and fauna are loosely based on the last thousand years of inhabitation.

No scenarios are included and none implied - these are a work in progress.

Resources are asymetrical, so two player games require quick expansion, and the ability to defend without certain units and techs if necessary.

Three player games usually evolve into competition for territory in the South Island, and four player games generally see two pairs of players fighting it out for control of the middle of the two islands and sea resources.

If just it was dense bush, like it would have been for early settlers.

Hopefully new Natural Wonders are able to be made soon, Pink and White Terraces are on my to-do list. You could probably put in Old Faithful for the Pohutu geyser, Kilimanjaro for Aoraki and the Rock of Gibraltar for Kupe's Sail

Pouakai, I agree, Mt Taranaki is the obvious one - the rest are a bit tougher to fit in...I think Great Barrier for the Poor Knights would work, others should emerge. Milford Sound and the Pink and White Terraces would be good to get in too.

Good job with the map, looks great. If you wanted to take it further you could change the natural wonder names, a la Wonders of the Ancient World, and add them in - Mt Fuji for Mt Taranaki and so on
