This class itself doesn't change any of the PCS code at all. The only thing that was wrong was the comment I made below. It's likely caused by a different mod.
My problem occurs when i try to put PCS into other non "Solo operative class"
Step 1: Go to...
\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\1695897994\Config\XCFClasses_LW2
Step 2: Open up...
XComClassData.ini using Notepad or something similar.
Step 3: See...
the first line with "aStatProgression=((StatType=eStat_Offense,StatAmount=20), etc.."
Step 4: Simply add (StatType=eStat_CombatSims,StatAmount=1), Make sure it has a comma and () like the others. Order shouldn't matter here, but it's usually right before eStat_HP.
Or don't try to add a PCS slot to the Solo Operative Class soldiers.
I've played for many hours with this class without doing the fix above and it's not crashing for me.
@gzl5000, Hi there! It’s always -7 aim at mission start. However every kill *should* provide +1 aim. As long as you get 7 or more kills on every Ace mission you should be fine. I didn't realize that some kills didn't provide +1 aim, that's new to me. If you notice what kills aren't being included please let me know.
Let's see...If you've done 15 missions (guess) with the Ace and you have 53 kills, that would be -52 aim, but I don't know how many you've done.
To fix your current game since your Ace is pretty much useless now, you want to edit the ini file to give your Ace aim when you deploy. That way you can set it to +40 at mission start and only deploy your weak Ace. Should be pretty balanced then, just make a shortcut to the folder on your desktop so you can change it back afterword. If you save after the mission, your stats from the mission will be saved.
