(The last two items are meant to replace Boots of Speed. With the above items, you will no longer require speed due to your Ethereal Blade and Shiva's Guard causing a substantial slowing effect. If your abilities and items are used correctly, your enemy will have no ability to attack or run away. The best thing you can do with the Boots of Speed is to sell them once you have gained enough gold to purchase any one of these suggested items. Linken's Sphere is more of a passive version of the BKB with increased hp and mana regen. The Veil of Discord is a massive team assist as well as allowing you to nuke 25% harder. If you invest in this jewel, I recommend this combination: Veil of Discord - Ethereal Blade - Arc and Shiva's Guard (simultaniously) - Bolt - Dagon - Thundergod's Wrath. Necronomicon can assist your lane pushing while you focus on killing heros. Heart of Tarrasque will ensure a prolonged life regardless of how many stuns hit you. Your survivability goes up by 50% which will increase your nuking potential in the worst of situations as well as deter enemy offences towards you. The Black King Bar is a very strong alternative to the Boots of Speed. I regard it highly since it gives you the ability to nuke with 100% assurance that you will take NO damage WHAT SO EVER for 4 second. The combination of the Ethereal Blade and the BKB ensures that enemies cannot attack you directly or with abilities rendering them completely vulnerable to your nukes and rendering you invulnerable in the greatest team fights you'll ever participate in.)



Always remember! Both Bolt and Thundergod's Wrath cause true sight on the targeted enemy for roughtly 5 seconds. Thundergad's Wrath does not cause damage to cloaked enemies, but they do become visible in the effect. Use this truesight to your advantage whenever it seems optimal. I have killed several cloaked Bounty Hunters that try to escape by using Thundergod's Wrath with a follow-up Bolt to deal the LH. It is also useful for detecting gankers and junglers for a counter gank or an escape. Map awareness is crutial for those timely finishes on low hp enemies escaping as well as simply knowing where you next target might be hiding.
