Update: v1.2.2

The description just ceased to exist for some reason, and I'm too lazy to recreate it right now...

That has been broken for several months, but I finally remembered to fix it. Well, by "fix", I mean I threw something together to prevent it from happening until I totally redesign the map, which I may or may not do eventually because this map is already not the greatest map in the world...

I don't know how it happened, but apparently the river got narrower at some point, so the water wasn't filling in the gap. So when you go around the corner, you would fly into the empty space that shouldn't have even been there. This has been fixed for the most part, but I still added an invisible forcefield to force the ball to go around the corner

The reason it took so long to get this fixed is because 1. I haven't been playing a lot of Golf it lately, and 2. I really don't like this map anyway, and I'm sure most people who play this map can understand why.

Hole 2 is in fact broken. The river does not span the width of the entire "course" (the wooden barrier to the left and the hillside to the right) and the river/water flow at the curve, for some odd reason, pushes you in the OPPOSITE direction of the water flow (left instead of right) around the corner, meaning you always fall out of the river current and cannot complete the hole.

Hole 2 is broken. The river current moves the ball out of the river at the turn and resets the ball.

Two comments in a row complaining about that, granted 2 months apart... Might have to take a look at that, maybe ball physics changed enough to cause that to not work the way it should.

The reason I hadn't done it yet is because I really don't like this map and don't typically suggest it to people lmao

The water slide just throws me out on the curve and my ball gets reset.

Too many particle effects, snow and clouds and stuff, making it more laggy. And the courses are way too big, its tedious to play for that long

Way to long way to retarded. 1 out of 5 possible Jörn's

No matter what I do, I cannot find a proper fix for the lag. There is one idea I have, and that is physically moving some of the islands closer together. I might try that, it shouldn't be that hard to do, but I have to try to avoid ones with events that move objects if I can... If this still doesn't fix the map, I will be dropping support on it (This means I won't update it anymore) :(
If I do this, however, and it's successful, I will release it as a main update, along with any existing bugs that I have yet to discover. The bad news is I can't focus my attention to map-making right now as I have another (unrelated) project I'm working on...

I'm still trying to find the cause of the lag, but I'm really having a hard time doing so. I just don't understand what it could be... I was told that it COULD be the fact that all the islands are so far from each other, though I don't know how that affects the framerate...
