Description
The Sunward Isles is a new dungeon that's modeled after Japanese history and culture. Fight new Yokai type enemies, explore the depths of the archipelago, and put an end to some of the ancient horrors of the Isles.

INTRO

Starting on week 6 a foreign trading vessel will weigh anchor outside the Hamlet. Bringing rare items and a unique culture, this interaction ends up being the introduction of the Sunward Isles. From here you can explore the Isles, do some errands for the local Daimyo, fight some yokai, etc.


FEATURES
This mod has the following:
- 10 new enemies that inhabit the Isles
- 2 new miniboss that can appear at random in the Isles
- 4 new bosses
- Quest progression (sorta like CC)
- Custom Curios and Hazards
- Powerful new quirks and new deadly diseases
- New supply items
- 3 new districts that are earned from doing Sunward Isle quests
- Etc. (I don't want to spoil everything)



OTHER RELATED MODS
There are separate mods with Sunward rarity trinkets for Marvin Seo's Class mods, S-Purple's Class mods, a SI-centric class mod, wave-based questline mod, and a new darkest level boss. Additionally, a very impressive addon mod for SI was made by Void Slime.



COMPATIBILITY
Right now the biggest compatibility issues are with other large scale mods like PBD. There's probably some issues with the lore pages conflicted with some other mods. This mod should work with smaller stuff like class mods, but certain things like flashbacks for the Isles will need to be added. If it's your first play through I highly suggest to play this mod on a new save with a limited number of mods. But SI does work on already saves that have already been started. If you're having issues I suggest use the -disable_monster_pre_loading. I'll try to keep up and work on making this mod as compatible as possible, but there will be limitations.

KNOWN BUGS
There's been an issue with the SI battle music being triggered by certain class mod attacks. It's an incredibly bizarre bug, which I'm not even sure if it's being caused by an incompatibility with the class mods.
There's been a known issue with "The Nightmare" mod's Lv. 7 quests. They will appear in SI, but since the appropriate mashes and monsters aren't available, entering a Lv. 7 quest in SI will crash your game. This issue can be fixed by downloading a supplementary mod made by the creator of "The Nightmare".

the umibozu was a literall pile of horseshit
400 hp, attacks multiple times per turn, can only be hurt by units in death's door, the stress and stuns, plus any attack immediately puts any units in death's door?
be reasonable, jesus christ, that made fighting the ancestor literally seem like fighting a toddler, heck, even vermintide's hell pit abomination were lass ridiculously overpowered than this

Hey, I made the Yurei FaceLift working again with some small changes, would it be alright to upload it to the Workshop?

how is this in most collections when its the least fun fucking thing ever is beyond me, the only cool thing that mod brings is the trinkets and the "final" boss the umibozu because his mechanic is the only instance of it i've seen.

Play with the refreshed mod or you will not enjoy your time with this slog.
