Description
The Leviathan Siege Tank is an unlock level 20 size class 3 end-game heavy combat tank meant to destroy POI's. It has 2 cargo boxes (harvest and ammo) with 18.000L capacity each with enough thrust to haul it at max load (tested with promethium ore on a 1g planet). It features a "PowerSave" mode to reduce fuel consumption when moving around with empty cargo and not engaged in combat). The entire outer hull is made out of combat steel for maximum protection, while the internal devices (like fuel tanks and generators) are seperated (to avoid chain reactions) with regular steel lagshot armor inbetween. The Leviathan Siege Tank is outfited with the maximum allowed amount of weapons so it is relativly expensive for an HV, but nothing not affordable in the late game.

This tank is made for XCaliber's march creators challenge, the goal was to make a HV that can deconstruct a POI with mass and volumes enabled without having to bring a CV along. I decided to build a heavy combat tank that can take out allmost any POI and then deconstruct it (except for the really big ones).

@I.Fight.Dirty Yeah what Doomforge said, a value that in the future you will not be able to exceed if you play with that game mechanic enabled (you will be able to turn it off when making a new survival game). However it's not balanced yet and will become much less limiting in the future, which will probably make it so this tank is actually CPU compliant. (they will drastically increase the limit in the future)

Put simply, it means the cpu value (those numbers seen on certain devices), totaled over the 7500 number the devs listed in the statistics tab of the control panel. Its not officially in effect yet though.

what does not CPU compatible mean on this build

@Dorimanx i try to keep my builds within vanilla limits but you're allways free to modify to your own liking. Thank you
@Sgt. DoomForge i wanted to make this as agile as possible and for that i needed a LOT of thrusters and even more RCS. Saddly that ended her up with a lengthy production time but in return it made her super agile, even when loaded. Thank you

Very nice! Definitely looks like it can take a beating and deliver the same right back at them, though I have to admit that is a pretty long production time. I started making some of my own hover tanks as well recently, but none of them are anywhere close to that level yet. They're more in the light-medium category with at least 2 turrets, but they're agile with at least 2 layers thick armor and equal thrust in all directions.

HWS Server now allows 2 Artilery on HV :) so this tanks looks great with 2 of them adding few more blocks on each side on top + missing 1 grinder on front center... to clear the trees in the middle. all the rest is great :)

np ,and your welcome...its a good solid design handles well

@RocknGames nono ofcourse not, i really appreciate you spotting the errors in my design. It's good for everyone. I'll take a look at it immediatly when i get back home. Thanks for the feedback.

I missread what you said and now that i think about it you're rigth, i forgot to check that part. I'll probably remove the block behind the ventilator there and replace with a grate (railing block, those aren't airtigth) thanks again!
RocknGames Mar 28, 2019 @ 2:43pm
Spawn one in and check it ,you only get the standard 1 block beside the ventilater in the front the rest of the space (cockpit chair and all) gets no o2. the back part of the ventilater is open and has the clone chamber that isnt air tight so thats not an issue. But the front part is covered by solid blocks and there are half/partial panels on the 2 sides to get to the chair. The game see's those as solid so air doesnt pass through.Am using it in my current game, really like the design alot so just wanted to give you a heads up....its not a complain just an observation
