WoW Classic: Darkshire

The wooded area known as Southern Elwynn Forest, or otherwise known as Brightwood, was a wonderful, quaint place to live until the First War, when the orcs invaded via the Dark Portal and destroyed the town of Grand Hamlet. It was later rebuilt. Soon after, the Guardian Medivh invited the nobles of Grand Hamlet into his magic tower of Karazhan for a ball. The previous Guardian, his mother, Aegwynn, confronted Medivh for his involvement in creating the Dark Portal and causing the First War. In response, the Sargeras-infused Medivh drained the life of all the Grand Hamlet nobles to fight her and her dragon companion off. The fel energies from the fight and Medivh's resulting death leaked out into the countryside, scarring and cursing the land. The area immediately around Karazhan bcame Deadwind Pass, Brightwood became cursed with eternal night to become Duskwood, and Grand Hamlet came to be known as Darkshire. Due to the various wildlife such as ravenous wolves and spiders, tireless undead, and bands of worgen roaming around, Duskwood holds many threats to the people living here. After King Varian Wrynn went missing, the Kingdom of Stormwind pulled all of their troops away from Darkshire. The citizens were left to fend for themselves... so they established the Night Watch.

Recorded in World of Warcraft at 30 FPS and optimized to keep filesize reasonably low.
