Sapphire Coast Line

Description
Sapphire Coast Line is a fantasy map, 8k x 4k, with 28 cities and loads of room for industry, shipping, airports. Islands off each coastline provide extra room for industries. Built as a no-industry map, there is plenty of room for setting industries all over the map. I set my oil fields on each island, then shipped the crude to refineries along the long shorelines provided for industry. Coal, Ore, Logs and Stone are easily placed throughout the mountain areas. Three Farms are provided, one on each end and one near the map's center. Several cities are located close to each other, and will merge over time.
-Experimental map sizes must be enabled to use this map-
**This map is extra large and you need to turn-on experimental map sizes in your settings.lua file. experimentalMapSizes = true - file found in-ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam\userdata\"userid"\446800\local - in that local folder is the settings.lua file.
Best played with the Vegetation Increase and Industry placement mods.

Looks like a cool, fantasy version of the Panama Canal. Will give it a try.

Surely a version could be made with Industry as I like the challenge of using industry but don't like placing it, just need the no roads mod

This type map is no good for the game's auto industry placement. Placing any industries on the islands before game start...would lead to long bridges too costly to adjust, leaving shipping at risk. As is, the map will load with only 2 bridges for road traffic that have shipping clearance at map start. I had thought of making a version where the base industries would be placed...but the newer industry mods add more industries to the mix. I am always open to making new versions, drop me a message if anyone has any good ideas.

Havan_IronOak...there are a few Industry mods that can be used for setting industries, also editing your C\ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\TransportFever\res\config\base_config,lua then on line 151 change game.config.industryButton = false to true. That will pop the in-game industry button on your game browser in-game, you can then place or delete industries as needed. Also look in the game mods and you will see a couple, one adds new industries to the game. Hope this helps.
WalkingWater21; you need to enable experimental map sizes in your system settings for this over-sized map to load.

This map looks great but you should list what mods are required in order to make it playable. I'm guessing that you'll need at least one of the ploppable industry mods. I'll be trying it as soon as I figure out what mods I need.
