LMS 'Black 5' 4-6-0

Description
To all of the people asking 'where is the Black 5?' from my LMS pack. Happy now?

The 'Black 5' was a locomotive designed by William Stanier for the LMS. With a taper boiler and a new high sided tender, these engines had a distinctive outline. Hundreds were built, and became the de facto mixed traffic design for the LMS and laid down the blueprints for the Standard 5 under BR.

Also included in this pack is an 8F, you lucky lot.

The 8F was essentially a black 5 on tiny wheels for more tractive effort and power. These engines became the standard locomotive of World War 2 in England, and abroad. 852 of these guys were built by all of the big 4 companies. Many were sent outside of the UK during the war to places like Turkey and Iran. There's even a few under the sea! So you have no excuse not to use these in your game as they are perfect for any region (except America).

Repaints:
If you desire to repaint the LMS 8F or Black 5 to suit your livery needs, feel free to do so, The 8Fs came in many guises being abroad and all. Simply credit me as the mesh maker or something and go ham, you can probably do better than me anyway.

Stats for lazy people:

Available: 1934 / 1937
Speeds: 90mph / 65mph
Powers: 1800hp / 2100hp
Tractions: 30,000lbf / 32,440lbf
Train: yes

Assets:
I nearly forgot, this pack as PLOPPABLE ASSETS. These are the first two engines to receive this treatment, all subsequent releases will have track assets, and then when I get good at it I will go back and apply assets to my older mods or something.

Smashing work. I'll be sure to feature it in the Great Map Tour (Cumbria)

The dirty big ones? They are part of a Russian wagon modpack. There's a few of them and they have wagons available from 1850 to the end of the universe. I highly recommend!

Great work, thanks for sharing. Just a question - what are the wagons in the second screenshot?

Please stop requesting mods in the comments. It does nothing but irritate the modders. Just stop.

It's ok now.

Last thing , both locos travel around with two black dots above them , only really obvious when you highlight it and the game draws a white line around them . In this screenshot they are just below the red game warning.

Huh, case sensitive weirdness. I'll plop out a quick update if that's all it is. Check back in 5.

Odd one then , the top line below is my modified version of the code for the Black 5 which now has correct sounds and below is the same line from the 8F which I have not changed and is silent.

soundSet = { name = "LMS_black_5", horn = "vehicle/LMS_black_5/black_5.wav" }

soundSet = { name = "LMS_Black_5", horn = "vehicle/LMS_black_5/black_5.wav" }

Yea, there will be a further update when the Pacific pack drops, as I have revised tender meshes and texture mapping for the tender as the Pacifics use the same tender.

As for the sound, it should be present. I have checked with a blank save with the current version and it works, so I am not sure what is happening.
