Description
This scenario starts at a signal check to the south of Carlisle station where you have just arrived in charge of a rebuilt Scot hauling a northbound express for Glasgow. Engineering works on the West Coast Main Line today has resulted in services being diverted via Dumfries and Kilmarnock. Once cleared to proceed, you make your way into Citadel station for a scheduled stop before continuing the journey as far as Dumfries where a Scottish crew take over.

Difficulty easy, Duration 52 minutes, easy to moderate difficulty; adverse signals at start and towards conclusion

Required assets:

Western Lines of Scotland (The Port Road) route
European Loco and Asset Pack
LMS Rebuilt Royal Scot locomotive
LMS 5XP Jubilee Class Steam Loco Add-On
BR 9F locomotive

Some screenshots feature the BMG Black Five which has been subsequently replaced with default 5MTs in this scenario to improve performance and frame rates.

Note: The Jubilee and Royal Scot locos are those available via DTGs Store and scenario will not recognise locos bought direct from Bossman Games.

I develop scenarios on an older PC so that they are unlikely to tax a typical modern PC too much. I have not measured frame rates as this seems to vary very quickly in-game. I tend to use my eyes to judge what is acceptable when testing scenarios, so if there is a more objective method I would be interested, if you know.
On your other point, I tend to "cheat" on some of the newer more demanding steam locos by using maximum assistance levels as I spend so much time on scenario creation. Looking forward to learning to drive these properly when the scenario creation urge eventually subsides.

Hi greendragon 32 , What sort of frame rate do you get ?
Also do you use Large Ejector ( U ) or not .

Glad you enjoyed Keith. Originally developed with Bossman 5MTs which looked superb but played havoc with frame rates around Carlisle. I know what you mean about the loco; I find the Jubilee a little more difficult than the Scot.

Great Run into Dumfries .Getting use to this engine very challenging.
