While there hasn’t been any recent changes to the map, there is however, very tight corners that often catch players off guard. Knowing them and calling them before hand is really important if you do not want to run into a blind spot which leaves you in an awkward situation.

Mirage

Mirage callouts has also been reworked slightly with the major change of removing sky box from the map. This has made ways for a lot of more strategies and fakes that you can pull through the use of smokes. And having proper map knowledge is therefore really essential.

Overpass

Overpass is a totally new map and really hard to master. Even the pros have a hard time as Overpass map doesn’t favor any side. Plus it is really easier for CTs to rotate and unless you don’t know the positions to call, you won’t be able to win this map ever.

Train

Train map is a favorite for many CS:GO players. If you are coming from the 1.6 era then you are probably among them. However, there is a lot of changes in this version of the map and so the Train callouts for it are also a lot different. For example, there is the shower room just behind the white walls or the CT heaven just outside the connector. Knowing them is greatly important and will help you and your teammates a lot.

Dust 2

Dust 2 map has been added to the active duty pool a while ago. This was done after bringing a few changes to the game in order to make it more balanced. We all knew this was going to happen as CS:GO is just incomplete without the map. If you have been used to the old Dust 2 then these Dust 2 callouts are greatly going to help you.

Nuke

Nuke map also received a revamp and was added to the active duty pool. And with this came a lot of different additions to the game that have changed the way how you played the map. For example there is the secret room that lets you move towards the lower site/B while there is also the addition of Toxic room as well.

Inferno

Likewise Dust2, Inferno map also received a few changes. This is why it is really important that you memorize all the Inferno callouts for the map if you want to give proper calls when matchmaking. Special emphasis should be given to Site callouts as in any case you should never misdirect your teammate as to where the opponent might be. For example, there is a “new box” in B where usually CT players hide. If you don’t know what its called then chances are this CT might also kill few more Terrorists after taking you down.
