Level Cap Increase! (UVHM 2 Initial builds)
By Whoa
Whoayeah!

I'm back with a different kind of guide cause at PAX Australia recently was announced UVHM 2 increasing the level cap to 72 as well as some other cool DLCs coming along with it. So I've decided to create a few very rough builds that I think will be viable in UVHM 2. Apprieciating all other build ideas and suggestions!

Introduction
I won't be talking as much in this guide unlike my other In-Depth builds as this is going to be a quick reference guide so that viewers can just quickly pull this guide up, find the class & build they want & just copy it down themself.

Yes I do know this is really early & UVHM 2 isn't out yet, but hopefully we can turn this into a community based guide where we can all post our crazy level 72 builds & see what cool things we can come up with!
Axton the Commando
Gaige the Mechromancer
Maya the Siren

Maybe you should try out my Bullet Storm Siren build! Unless you're trying to farm bosses then you'd be incredibly lucky to survive with Life Tap!

Yay.
What I planned for Axton's roughly the same as yours.
Twin slag rocketing longbow sentries :D:

Yeah I'll admit they needa fix Sub-Sequence. Maybe make Phaselock tick 50% slower than normal while the orb is in motion so it's not too OP if it was paused & not too wasted if it was full speed.

But that's quite an interesting strategy, I may have to try it out sometime!

For really dire situations, there's always Grenades + Grog Nozzle/Rubi. I find the Lightning Bolt grenade mod especially awesome for this (or Breath of Terramorphous for "prolonged" healing around mobs while running around). A level 59 Lightning Bolt could instantly heal me for almost 100k with Grog, pretty meh with Rubi though. Maybe when I get Leech, I'll try Motion/Cataclysm. I don't really use Moxxi weapons (at least not in UVHM) aside from Rubi/Grog Nozzle. I just like this "burst healing mode" more.

Since I don't have Ruin I don't really need the Sub-Sequence procs, though I admit Sub-Sequence with Ruin is awesome on co-op coz it jumps around like crazy. I would like Sub-Sequence more if it resets, or at least prolong Phaselock duration, or maybe at least stop the timer while it flies to another target, and maybe end it sooner when there are no more targets on sight. Most of the time I find my bubble floating away, prolonging cooldown start.

I got asked about that too, but I guess it ties with my play style that I don't kill the Thoughtlocked target (I mainly choose the beefier ones like badasses) this way I keep Elated and Wreck up much longer, clearing the easier mobs around the "tank" faster. Elated and Sustenance can actually keep my health up as long as I don't get instagibbed (I'M LOOKING AT YOU DUKE OF ORK!!!), I admit Sweet Release is often overkill though. Some people like Life Tap but if you kill en masse it gets kind of wasted IMO. I find that I can clear mobs with one Scorn into a Converged Thoughtlock most of the time so Scorn's cooldown doesn't really bother me and I can always use a slag weapon for the remaining stragglers, and it would be ready by the time I reach the next "group." Quicken, Legendary Siren, and a 38% CDR relic keeps Thoughtlock pretty spammable.

[Continued, LOL at 1k character limit]

May I ask why you don't have any points in Sub-sequence? I find that a single enemy dies too fast while in Phaselock, wasting the points invested in Suspension, Thoughtlock, Wreck & Elated.
Also I personally find Maya's Harmony tree to be overkill as you already get plenty of health back from using a Moxxi weapon, which are easy to obtain as they're quest rewards.

It might just be me but except for Reaper, I find Maya's Cataclysm utterly terrible for UVHM. Switching focus to Motion and Harmony gave me a much easier time. Here's what I use, with Legendary Siren mod (switching out 1 Elated for Res when in a group). http://www.bl2skills.com/siren.html#555041050114555005011300000000
