7.20e (Support) Support Luna, Beam Build
By McFrosty: Return of the King
This Luna build uses focuses on using her talents around Lucent Beam. I believe that Icefrog put these talents into the game to provide an alternative playstyle to the traditional carry. The play style is to support your team with long range lucent beams as interupts (tps, channels, blink cancles). The base cast range on Lucent Beam is 800, after you add the level 10 talent (200) with an ather lens (250) it has 1250 range. This range allows you to position youself out of danger throughout the game and is also used as utility for support items and wards throughout the game. Your biggest power spike is at level 15 with the cooldown reduction that puts beam on a 2nd cd. A great tool for chasing down enemies.

Early game during lanning phase can be difficult because of luna's limited range. This makes it difficult to trade auto attacks, but the trade off is having one of the highest base movement speeds in the game. This can allow you to skip boots into an early bottle to sustain and control runes and keep pressure up with beam.

Mid game using your ult is a great way to contribute during teamfights. Since you are a support and weak early and mid game, try to use your ult as a counter initation or on an enemy overextended.

Late game is where the build starts to get really fun. Aghamin's Scepter turns you into a huge threat and scales very well with your level 25 talent. The range on your Agh's ult is amazing with your other talents and items. With refresher you can easily wipe a team in the right situation.

This is the first and probably only guide I'll ever make, so I appreciate and thank anyone who is reading this. I hope you'll give this build a chance and have fun playing it.

thanks,
Mcfrosty
