(p) 63 - SLS Scottish Rambler Railtour Part 4

This railtour ran over the Easter weekend in 1963 being hauled by four preserved Scottish locomotives along with various BR engines over the many legs. On 15 April, Jubilee 45588 "Kashmir" ran three of these legs from Dumfries to Castle Douglas, Castle Douglas to Newton Stewart and Newton Stewart to Stranraer Town, with BR Standard 4MT 80023 performing the return run to Kirkcudbright from Castle Douglas. These 5 scenarios re-create those legs of the railtour and run to the actual timetable used and also reflect the train configuration of 5 Mk1 coaches including an RMB, and weather conditions based on photographs. AI trains are of course speculative but typical of what might have been expected.

In part 4 you take the controls of Jubilee 45588 "Kashmir" to haul the Castle Douglas to Newton Stewart leg of the SLS/Branch Line Society's Easter 1963 Scottish Rambler Railtour making three intermediate stops at New Galloway, Gatehouse of Fleet and Creetown.
