How to craft ammunition - Fallout 4

Requirements

To build this factory you will need:

• Contraptions Workshop DLC
  
• PERK: Gun Nut (1)
  
• PERK: Science (1)

Factory Build

Unfortunately you can't craft some types of ammo in this factory.

How to build this?

1. Place Ammunition plant and power it
      
   
2. Place storage (it must be connected to ammo plant)
      
   
3. Place Terminal and connect this to factory.
      
   
4. Put materials to craft ammo in factory
   

Ammo types

Ammo plant cannot be used to craft ammo from Far Harbor and Nuka-World DLCs

But like... even if it DOES take some effort, it's really not that hard as long as you're smart and paying attention, who the hell in their right mind would even bother paying for a DLC just to make ammo when they can just get a mod that does the exact same thing and potentially more and all for free? Jeez, it's the equivalent of falling for an egregious, needless microtransaction.

So you need to pay for a DLC to be able to craft only the most basic ammo types.

There are mods on the Nexus that allows for ammo crafting, and allows crafting even the most rare types, like Alien Power Cells.

Why would someone buy this DLC, when it can't craft all ammo types?

Ammo has never been a problem for me, except precisely the DLC calibers, which can't be made by this contraption...

As soon as you scrap everything in Sanctuary, start setting up a water farm. As soon as able, place a vendor or two right next to the workshop so you can grab all your purified water and turn around to sell it. There is obviously a limit on how many caps that vendor will have, but scrounging all those ingredients looks like a pain. It's easier to get power armor, load up on ammo and fast travel to all the different vendors to buy ammo.

hmm honestly there should be one ammuntion station for each dlc in one of those settlements that lets you craft the DLC ammo. Also why didn't bethesda think to include all the base game ammos including the rare ones i mean come on im not the only one thinking of this right?
