Nuka World: Skip Raiding Commonwealth Settlements (Console Fix)

How to finish the DLC without becoming hated by Preston Garvey and the Minutemen.

Instructions

• Go to the Fallout 4 folder (right-click on the game in library -> manage -> browse local files), create a new text file named nwskip.txt. Copy and paste the following code:
  

  SetStage DLC04MQ04 1000
  completequest DLC04MQ04
  SetStage DLC04MQ05 5

• Play the DLC normally until you conquer all five locations.
  
• Talk to Gage, he will suggest raiding the Commonwealth next, agree to this. This starts the Home Sweet Home quest. But don't talk to Shank yet.
  
• Open the console (tilde key) and type bat nwskip. This will auto complete Home Sweet Home and start Power Play right away. You can now talk to Shank to proceed as normal.

Notes

• Since we're not raiding settlements, what gang betrays you at the end and what perks you get will depend on how you distribute the main five locations.
  
• You won't get another chance to take the Nuka World raiders into the Commonwealth. Shank won't offer it anymore.

If you have the cheat terminal mod you can skip this quest! It apparently sticks around but you dont have to raid settlements

there's a easier skip actually, simply clear all five locations, then talk to the female shopkeeper at the shopping area for nuka world dlc she gives a quest (kill all raider leaders) skip the raiding BS unless you need achievement then simply rush that content in a different play through ez.

Don't join the Minutemen right away. Do go to Diamond City, you can join the Brotherhood and do jobs until you get a mission that sends you to Far Harbor, hold that off until you rescue Nick.
You can finish the Mechanist and other missions you come across, get some companions if you encounter them, until you pick up the Nuka-World radio broadcast.
You can do Far Harbor before Nuka-World, just don't assign Nick to any Commonwealth settlements.
After finishing Nuka-World [and getting the perks you want] you can pick up Open Season from Preston to wipe out your established raider outposts in the Commonwealth. Then go back to Nuka-World and John Wick the hell out of the raider bosses.

orrrr do the dlc first then help the minute men peston wont be your follower but he wont hate you but if you do open season then he will be your follower as long as you dont save minute men become general then do nuka world
