Introduction
9/3/2017 - About four years have past since the guide has been updated. Crusader Kings II has changed significantly since that time. The guide will retain a very similar structure. Redundencies are included. For example, Reapers Due has different disease removal events, however the original disease removal events are staying as they are still supported by the code and are functional without DLC. The code has changed significantly, the code that lists itself with its respective DLC may not function as intended. Continue experimenting with what will work. Events at the beginning of the guide will likely be more functional with older versions of the game. Any suggestions are welcome. The list of the commands that are available are significant and can be overwhelming. CRUSADER KINGS II: THE OLD GODS v2.22 (VRWO) The purpose of this guide is to discover and effectively use console commands. Any text that is surrounded by quotation marks, "" , is what you type exactly into the console. Do not include the "" when you type in the console. Push the `~ key to enter the console. Typically this key is located on the top left of your keyboard. Type the following: "charinfo" ("charinfo 1" for older versions of the game) This reveals more detailed information about all the characters. Most importantly, it gives you the character ID number. Sometimes typing a console command a second time will nullify the effect of the console command.

some things that are missing:

If you have "charinfo" turned on, the proper tags of all titles, traits, religions, cultures and so on show up in the tooltip when you hover over them. So you don't have to rely on lists or filesearches.

also if you are ever uncertain about the proper syntax of a console command typing "help [command]" displays it.

yes it turns out that infamy can't be targeted to the character, so it is "infamy -10" and it will only be applicable to the character you are playing
