Description
--6/21/2024--
-Fix: Artillery firing effect was not called
-Fix: Modified english weapon strings to fit the newer system
-Fix: Flaming variants for each projectile were not created properly after changes to the base game
-Fix: Artillery should now always have reduced damage against structure
-Change: Flaming variants now apply some fire AoE on hit
-Change: Artillery energy firing cost decreased to 2000, damage against sandbags mildly increased (1.2x). May follow up with another change later.

---5/4/2019---
-Artillery will deal much less damage to vanilla materials and much more damage to devices
-Flanker will deal much less damage against vanilla materials

--Description--
This mod adds 2 weapons: the Flanker and the Artillery.

The flanker shoots 2 fast bolts which stop mid-air, turning into weaker heavy mortar shells that possess AP-potential. Requires the Armoury.

The artillery will fire 16 area-damaging shells. The weapon will have increased spread depending on the trajectory used to shoot, so indirect fire is recommended to decrease spread. Requires the Munitions Plant.
In-game mod name : "Another Artillery Mod"

Some balancing ideas from Kepler_22 in the comments were taken into account.

Hi polyderpioide claypocalypsine, the use of math.random in weapons/flank.lua can cause a desync in multiplayer. I'm marking this as incompatible until it's removed - let me know if it has been.

those are the changes. not much else as otherwise they are on par with lamas weps. which is a really well balanced mod dispite using the least balanced ideas.

I agree with the flanker. I kinda agree with the artillery changes, so i think i'm going to make those 2 do even less damage against structure. The only problem with that is that there aren't many situations where the enemy is going to wall their base with devices, except for turtling, which as far as i know isn't very widespread.I think the changes are gonna be an overall decrease in damage against structure for the 2 weapons. Maybe i could add a mini buff to the artillery if the structure damage nerf is too serious.
