Zuce's Guide to Blood Seeker

Blood Seeker is one of my favorite heroes. He has wonderful ganking ability and solo kill ability. This guide will help cover the basics and advanced parts of BloodSeeker and how to play him correctly.

Summary of BS
Bloodseeker is a good offlaner and midlaner. He can go midlane do to his second ability bloodbath. What Bloodbath basicly does is if a unit has X amount of health and you last hit it you get 10%/15%/20%/25% of it's health based on the level of Bloodbath. With heroes, if you kill a hero you get 10%/20%/30%/40% of their total health.This is very nice for tower diving or rushing in and finishing off people with less health. Bloodseeker does have the pottential of Jungling, but I wouldn't suggest jungling with him. He is a carry, but unlike most carries becomes useful very quickly instead of late game.
Bloodseekers Moves
Bloodseekers first move is called Bloodrage. What it does is silences target for 6/7/8/9 seconds, but increases their damage output by 30%/60%/90%/120%. I would suggest getting this move at level 2, but not maxing until Bloodbath and Thirst are max. This is extremly useful early game when you are trying to chase someone down, but they have blink, stun, or windrun. If you silence them with this at level 1 they get a 30% damage increase, but gets silenced for 6 seconds so they can't run or stun you. Late game once you get this fully maxed out I would suggest using it on yourself or a move heavy person like Zues, Death Prophet, Lion, Witch Doctor ,and any other nuker or support. If you dont want to cast it on them just be sure not to cast it on one of their right clickers. Drow, Ursa, Riki, Clinkz, ect. One more thing about Bloodrage it will do 20 damage a second to the target as long as they are silenced.

Blooodseekers second move is Blood Bath. This move is amazing for staying in lane, tower diving, staying in team fights, or jungling. What it does is everytime you deny or last hit a creep or hero you get a certain percentage of their health. Unit kill will give you 10%/15%/20%/25%. Fore a hero you get 10%/20%/30%/40%. This is one of my favorite passives in the game! Get this move on level 1 to keep you in lane with Last Hits and Denies. Plus this will give you a little push to make sure you get those last hits and denies.

Bloodseekers third move is Thirst. Thirst give true sigh of any hero below 20%/30%/40%/50% and grants 15%/25%/35%/45% movement speed and 3/4/5/6 bonus armor. This is really good for a point at level 3 so you can see junglers when they get low health. Late game this gets you to move at a max of 522 speed and 6 more armor when anyone gets below 45% health. Also very good for chasing people down. Like I said this gives true sight so if someone tries to shadow blade out or shadow amulet you can still see them. This makes it extremly tough for people to escape you.

His final ability is rupture. Rupture is an amazing move with a really low cooldown for how good it is. Get this as soon as you can. At level 6 to get and early kill I let enemy push to my tower then rupture and chase him down. But why do you think rupture is so good of a move Zuce? Well let me tell you! So you turn level 6 get rupture and let them push. Now they are at your tower and you rupture and they run. If they run they are dumb and retarted! Why?! For every unit they move the get dealt 20%/40%/60% damage taking to them! Plus a base damage of 150/250/350 damage they are going to die! Combo this with level 1 blood rage, urn, rupture, forcestaff, then a few right clicks they are dead! Rupture + force staff is one of the meanest combos in the game. Aside from Zues scepter and refresher!

Force Staff!

Dear mother of god if you know what is good for you and want to be a huge scumbag get the force staff! This is extremely good! The force staff pushes them while they are ruptured causing some massive damage!


Urn of Shadows!

Get this! Use it on enemies while trying to gank. Combo this with silence (Unless it is a right clicking hero {Drow, Ursa, Carrys.})rupture and forcestaff. Then a few right clicks and they should be dead! If not you shouldn't have any trouble chasing.


Heavens Halberd!


You thought you were mean? Now you are one of the biggest scumbags in the game! You can silence whoever you want now! Even drow! You know why??? BECAUSE THEY CANT ATTACK! If you get this item you can solo almost anyone! Silence, urn, Heavens Halberd, Rupture, ForceStaff, and a few right clicks death. Or Urn, HH, Rupture, Forcestaff, Silence yourself(Increase your damage. This is what I do after I get Bloodrage upto level 2)

I will include luxury Items later and explain their usefulness. Check the actual build in game for the other Items. This is just core for any good blood seeker build I think.


Early game Level 1-6
Mid build items and offlane are pratically the same. At level 1-6 focus on last hits and denies, getting as much money as possible. You should try to keep your creep wave back to make sure at level 6 you can secure a kill. If offlaning ask your support or semi carry to stack and pull creeps for you. At level 6 focus the squishy hero or the only hero and rupture then silence them. This will most likely get you a kill. If they are really low health tower dive! You have really high move speed, armor, then the health from the hero death! This kill will secure your usefullness. Use the urn as well if you have it.
Ganking
After you get your forcestaff and urn gank! Choose a lane that is pushed back to their tower and gank! Like before choose the hero with less health go in silence urn rupture forcestaff. This will continue to increase your gold and exp. If you don't have forcestaff around level 8-9 jungle. Get phase before force but after phase get force. Don't worry about lifesteal due to your move bloodbath.
Teamfights
READ ME IF YOU HAVE HEAVENS HALBERD!

Ok you have done good on your farm. You have all your core items but the team is traveling together what do I do? You Wait until your initiater to start the fight, then focus their disabler or highest DPS. Possibly even their support. If you are going for support use HH on their DPS the urn their support, rupture, force, silence yourself and kill. After that kill the rest. If you do focus the DPS HH them urn rupture force silence yourself and kill. After the kill you got it will increse your armor and movement speed for a while, most likely until another one gets low health. If the fight does last a long time just repeat.Most likely it wont and I don't even know why I put that in there. But if some freak fight happens and it lasts for ages just silence yourself and go crazy with your extra 120% damage!

OK I DON'T HAVE HEAVENS HALBERD!

You'll do ok just not as good as you could!Do the samething as above other than the heavens halberd part!

No. You can recover! If you are shut down have no items just focus a forcestaff and phase. Jungle for a while until you get these items. Then when you see a lone squishy person gank. You should beable to solo them even if you are shut down. You will have high enough damage with you Rupture and force staff to kill someone. Then you will slowly recover and get you Heavens Halberd to get caught up and be good again. Don't worry it is easy to jungle with him after the first 6 levels. Just Bloodrage yourself then leave it to blood bath to heal you. If somehow you managed to still suck with It's ok! Just help out your rightclicker on your team if there is another one! (Drow, sniper, Templar Assassin, or your carry after they used their moves!)
