This mod is meant to bring the feel of an endless horde of rats to your Skaven battles. it does this by adding the following:

Plague Monks, Stormvermin, Death Runners, and Skaven Lords all have a new passive ability called Vermintide. Much like the spell, it summons a group of clan rats. The clanrats are summoned automatically and the unit consists of only 40 rats each. They decay almost instantly if their leadership breaks, for balancing reasons. This ability can only activate if the unit is below half health, and has only one use. (On campaign the uses are tied with Menace Below, giving you upwards of 10 uses, but there's a 30 second cooldown)

Clanrats all have a weaker version of Vermintide that summons 60 skavenslaves. They too must be below half health.

Skaven Legendary lords are each given mounts, piggybacking the table edits I made on this mod. For this reason these two are incompatible, just use this one if you want both it has everything the other one did and more.

And finally weaker tier skaven infantry have a new hidden ability called Kill Eat the Wounded. If skavenslaves or clanrats are winning combat, they slowly heal and have a small leadership debuff applied to their attacks. Again, if they're winning, skavenslaves and clanrats aren't known for their combat prowess so this won't be a game changer.

okay so does this one work currently? because the vermintide in your overall collection mod is bugged right now. but i still want to play, but im not sure i can bring myself to without ma rat boi's

I don't know how it was implemented technically. I only remember small ratmen running towards the enemy every now and then. They did not even deal damage just disoriented the enemy a bit.

I mean performance and method, kinda like how soul stealer is janky cus it uses the miscast system to apply a heal. What is possible is to have an ability that passively heals skaven units around a lord and resurrects them, which looks like rats popping up from the ground

Do you mean janky performance wise? I'm pretty sure i played mod like that with Skrolk maybe year back.

I dont think thats even possible tbh, and if it were itd be really janky. This one spawns clanrats that rampage when the lord drops below half health, but thats the extent of whats possible as far as spawning units from a lord

Anyone remember which mod gave skaven lord a trait that would spawn little skaven or rats one at a time which would then venture towards nearest enemy?

mod manager is stupid and thinks any mod that hasnt updated before the previous patch is outdated. Just ignore it, it works
