Tips how to play dota 2 properly

1.Pick a hero that can helps your team! It's basically depends what your team and enemy choose
2.5 players should focus on one objective, aim for the throne (play the game smartly and you can overcome it)
3.Provide wards for the map always in the beginning of the game or late!
4.Do not chat too much in the game as will lead you to sudden death.
5.PICK A Hero that you can play perfectly!
6.Build the most EPIC ITEM, as always!
7.Don't overdo and push the lane too much as will lead you to chaos situation. ( and you wont like it)
8.Not trying to be toxic,but if helping your teammate in the middle of the fight and u know it will get 5 of u getting killed. I strongly recommended you do retreat before team wiped out, sometimes it's not worth and lose easily.
9.It is important to take down all the towers,barrack and aim for their throne.
10.Teamwork if you can, if your teammate are not toxic
11.End the game quickly if you had the chance.
12.The toxication in dota 2 is too strong and overwhelming! try not to do stupid things in the game.

Story

Hide your weakness,do not show your foe how you control your hero and all your movement,once your enemy knows your every movement plan,it is considered you are done,so try not to get excited for the enemy "noob" plays at the beginning,always focus on your enemy and have common sense in dota 2,

I will try to update the hero build guide as long as possible !
this is my very first guide in dota 2 hope you find it useful !
i will slowly insert every single hero items build.

I kindly wrote the story of how dota 2 begun,but not according to the original version so i make it abit more differences with better story. *I replaced the story with my custom story*


True Story

Throne fallen into darkness,war begun between both aside team fight for victory an survive,which led the village town turned into a chaos,the sky......turned into ashes....

The kingdom,the castle of the troops all trotted for the war,*sigh* where's the enemy came from? Those dire heros you played in the game....
What about the radiant,the god hero zeus?

Once upon a time,long ago the omniknight is the first king in the atlantas,there are 5 legend of all time *Mirana* *anti mage* *invoker* *zeus* to be called as *god*his siblings *omniknight*(not sure his siblings name) then betrayed him to join the evil side to gain the ultimate power in the world,once his siblings no longer his allies,omniknight decide to stop him from gaining the evil *ultimate power*,then realise his sibling have another evil allies called *warlord* is the first magician created all his demon allies in battle with warlord great power can summon a giant *golem* and massive*skeletons* in number,meanwhile, mirana and zeus are learning *transformation power*then realise omniknight sibilings went into berserk tried to kill his brother and other god.


The war just begun like this,the sky cloud turn into darkness,demon has risen....

Important Notes

It is just a strategy that you can win against your enemy with different ways

1.Choose dominating lane hero
2.mobility hero
3.hero that can counter against enemy
4.not recommended you buy the same item in every match if you repeat using previous hero, or buy the expensive item at first early 10 mins
5.If you're a support with your carry in a lane,let the carry farm creeps and help them harassed the enemy.
6.According to other tips guide as provided on youtube,played as a mid lane hero should not slightly move to top or bottom lane as you will lose amount of gold or exp,
ONLY HELP your teammate when neccesary.
7.remind your teammate when you're about initiate into battle.
8.always look map for enemy.
9.Typing in game happened most of the time,also not recommended you typing so much in game as will lead you to sudden death,typing only distracted your attention onto the chatting with other players.

DOTA 2 (Strength) Heroes ~ Build (Ongoing)

Strength is one of the three primary attributes with the theme of defending against magic damage. It grants health, health regeneration, and magic resistance to every hero. Strength heroes also gain attack damage per point of strength.

Bonuses

For each point of strength, a hero gains the following bonuses:

20 Health
0.1 Health regeneration
0.08% Magic resistance

Additionally, strength heroes also get 1 attack damage per point of strength.

The health bonus is only applied to the maximum health pool. The hero's current health is not increased, but keeps the current health percentage. To gain 1 health regeneration, 10 strength points are required. To gain 1% magic resistance, 13 strength points are required.

Strength heroes

Strength heroes tend to have more health and health regeneration than other heroes, making them more resilient to both physical attacks and spells. Strength heroes have a great variety in their roles, including that of carry, ganker, and support, but almost all of them have some form of strong initiation and are supposed to act as tanks to some degree. In addition, heroes with a large amount of strength may greatly increase the damage needed to bring a team down. With a few exception, most strength heroes are melee. Whilst intelligence heroes typically sport a strong early game, and Agility heroes excel in the late game, Strength heroes are often able to strike a balance between the two and remain relevant at all points of the game.

There are 38 strength heroes in Dota 2.

Below is a table build of all heroes with strength as their primary attribute. The growth columns indicate by how much the base values increases for each level of the hero.

Abbadon Build (OLD) Skip this for now

ABADDON



Abbadon is a tanker role in general,however,i will turn abbadon into a carry and tankie with these item:
Aside of the story rumor told by pro players which claimed the hero abbadon to be a tanker most of the time,it is actually based on your foe and your team,highly recommended to look out for enemy weakness before buying item,it is not really good for you to buy the same item every match because the enemy has the opposite of the strategy to take you down.

First item:Ring of aquila,boots of speed
Second item:EchoSabre

late game item:Satanic,butterfly and heart of tarrasque.

based on my experience,my win rate is high as abbadon with massive damage item which burst your current damage,because itself abbadon already consider a tanker hero does not need too much tankie item for him,also depends on your needs with talent,choose your talents wisely !

Alchemist Build (OLD) Skip this for now

Alchemist

Alchemist is one of the best quick farming hero of all times,it is great to always plot a strategy to farm massively gold within 15 mins,it is important to take your role every match you choose alchemist,does not need you to gank or help your team mates for the beginning of the 15 mins of the game,always carry a healing bottle if you are a player who always get below 20% hp and retreat to fountain to get healing which is waste of time,try not to kept getting harrased by your foe too much,also stay in your lane if you took care of the mid lane,don't leave your lane to help your teammate just because they did died many times,it is important to stay in your role.farm quickly as you can.

Axe Build (OLD) Skip this for now

Axe



Axe is a tank hero with super skill tree talents,many players prefer to carry as a axe most of the
time,well,in skill talent tree just choose the right side for "regeneration" talent which is good for againts every hero,what axe does really need for better item? assasult curras,heart of terrasque and other tank item,if your team composition carry has "5" bar then you dont have to be a carry as axe anymore,strategy planned,especially ambush enemy from blind spot,let enemy know where u are while you're targeting them,it is hard to capture them,sometimes enemy is smarter,so ambush them from behind or out of bushes like ninja warrior,there's something important in dota 2 which many people dont really read what item stats attribute given,always buy the item which effectively againts your enemy but not the item your hero needs,sometimes buying the item not suits your hero attribute at all is part of the strategy too,like your teammate doesn't have "disable" other role,buy some item that silenced your enemy from using their skill,this is a lot better than having your correct item,ofcourse,this guide is only for the beginner or pros look up for this guide for fun too

Q:Is Axe a tanker or carry or a support?
A:Any role you can take as long as you can bring the victory for your team

Q:What item axe need? i should just follow the guide in dota2 instead here
A:I don't force anyone reading this guide,just a basic that i've given or the right choice for your team,most of pub team are toxic and does not cope with the plan...

Q:Axe being a carry is not right
A:Not true,sometimes buying "disable" item in your inventory is quite good againts your enemy when your enemy have stunner or make you unable to attack or even move a inch

First of all,it doesn't matter who you team up with or what enemies heroe you encountered,what it is important were you must achieve the win no matter what,if you could outsmart your enemies by playing with your perfect strategy,you know that you always win....dota 2 players,even pro player used to believe lose and win are part of life,that's very true,but why not we think twice again for this? You never lose if you play it smartly than your enemy,using your brain every seconds it is important,1 mistake could decrease your winning chance,another mistake would ruined your gameplay as well, i am not saying you can't make mistakes,simply mistakes always happened to us,but you cant make mistakes like dying,taking bait etc,well tbh my tinker rate were 90%.

Someone once asked me,you said that we can always win in dota and never lose the game? yes,but not always you lose in the game,carefully choosing heroes also very important for the game. I'd strongly recommended you play the game smartly and mastering tinker is one of the ideal way for it. goodluck in gaming ;)

BKB

Status:Well,a lots of players seems to use bkb to counter stunner or bind skill on them,for tinker,you would buy bkb for situation when you are not safe in the war,you know they hunt you for harras them using your rocket and laser,it is depends

Linken's Sphere

Linken's Sphere is an item to reflect foe the first skill ever cast on you,like storm spirit tried to caught you or some annoying skill that might get you killed easily,i usually buy bkb instead,maybe it is my preferences or something,

Lotus Orb

Applied a shield to the target unit which re-cast most targeted spells back to their caster.

you see,some heroes have some painful skill,it is perfect to against lina,and lion,but you still took damage tho,also dont let any negative buff affect on you otherwise the shield will slightly dispel.

Zeus Build Guide latest update

Start of game.

Early game the only real thing you want to do is FARMING and you also want to be careful for ganks ( one of zeus big weakness is 0 mobility, if you play vs good ganker you might have a hard game)




CS with your Q while also auto attacking with to be sure you won't get denyed.

get a soul ring to never run out of mana while buying some clariy potion here and here to be able to get every cs with your q ( you won't get much with your auto attack, since if you went soul ring you won't have much extra intel your auto attack will be almost useless)



Once you hit your level 6 you def have kill potential for both the mid lane if you have someone that can help you or top or bot lane. With a full mana bar with 5 Q in a row you will do insane dmg on a lvl 3-4 support or carry with your ultimate to finish them.



Get mana boots and bottle after soul ring and you should be able to clear waves with 3Q.( try to get one auto attack on the range creep it can stay alive early with only 1 point in E) Will need 2 q to kill the range creep.

after you clear the waves, you can, wait for the other wave to come or try to get a gank if you see good Opportunities.


Mid game.
Now the real fun start.


You will start getting more points in your w which does INSANE damage (and also cancel out TP and give vision in night which also auto attack someone if you hit it on the ground)


You have a lot of items Opportunities, it depends on game but bloodstone is always a top item choice.


Zeus without mana is the most useless hero in the game ( his auto attack has no damage and range, all his abilities that does dmg cost mana, .)

after that or BEFORE that eul scepter is also good to be able to live vs things like SF ultimate, invoker combo and can also use it offensively to help set up a good combo from your team.


Aghanim is the second best item next to bloodstone for zeus, can cancel out tp from ANYWHERE, insane dmg combo with your q+w+r combo. Get that item quickly.


Keep clearing waves quick and always have tp on you so you can help your off lane or safe lane if they get in trouble ( once you are lvl 6 it's always dangerous to do something vs a zeus... his q-w-r combo is almost always a one shot if they don't have any magic resist or rain drop to counter your crazy burst)You can also start jungling if you have your bloodstone since now you have very good mana regen AND health regen to be able to tank some hits if you fail your jungle kitting, the health regen will also heal up the soul ring dmg)


Late game.
Zeus keep getting better and better as the game goes on...


With the mana regen from bloodstone and eul scepter you will be able to spam your Q to farm jungle and everything non stop so you will keep getting items easy.


With the mana regen you will also be able to never run out of mana in fight ( if you still do, try to always have clarity potion on yourself)The constant damage from your Q spam and the INSANE damage coming out of your W will be no fun for your opponent. Add the passive which wreck anyone( even tank ) through the game and you will see why Zeus is one of the best mid if not the best in my opinion in the right hands.


Once you are lvl 25 with octarine you will even be able to clear mega creeps easy, also will be able to def the highground from far( very hard to push highground vs zeus even without his lvl 25 q damage.)



Always stay in the background, sometimes you can try to make plays by yourself if you have a blink dagger and aghanim, your aghanim + ulti + W + q combo can literally 100% to 0 % anyone that isnt careful and don't have any magic resist.









What skills to max out ?And what talent to take ?
Max Q then W ( one point in your passive at lvl 2 or 4 depending if you need your w to cancel out a tp very early level )

Maxing Q make you able to farm the creeps without anyone being able to deny you ( only TA can do that cause her auto attack are just better than your q, she's like the best hero to play vs zeus)




XP at level 10 is always the best talent imo. Zeus with level mean more damage and more burst which is always good.


Level 15 one should be move speed, zeus weakness is his bad mobility so the move speed is seriously nice to take which add up a nice movement speed to eul scepter and travel boots.


lvl 20 is seriously a hard choice some games, i rlly like the Cooldown reduction added up to octarine you have insane CDR for both your aghanim w and ultimate, but i also like the stun on W since if someone stay in your aghanim + you use your w on them you can almost STUNLOCK them hard, good vs hero that have to run away like void, storm, etc ( also people can never blink out of your aghanim since the damage is always instant once they are out of their eul scepter, the damage from the aghanim ability will always be faster than the blink reset.


Level 25 should always be the Q damage... that talent is just insane.

Make you able to clear wave insane fast ( can even clear mega creeps late game.) also crazy insane damage in long fights.

Phantom Assasin

its easy to use this hero when were about learning how to play dota and seek for wins
cause this hero only got 2 active and 2 passives its perfect hero for everyone that want easy wins

basic start item : quelling blade , stout shield , tango , healing salve , wraith band

mid game item : phase boots , vladmir , battle fury , desolator , black king bar , abyssal blade

optional item : power treads , diffusal blade , assault cuirass , satanic , sange and yasha , monkey king bar , butterfly , divine rapier


when the match begin make sure you help to get bounty rune
early game is such important moment to get durability items ,
with item such quelling blade , stout shield , also healing salve
after get 2 bounty runes start to with wraith band first by buying circlet or slippers of agility

Wraith Band ( Cost : 515 /215 recipe )
+3 Strength
+6 Agility
+3 Intelligence
+5 Attack speed

after get 1/2 wraith band ( its increase your hero durability with good stats for you hero ) then aim for phase boots

Phase Boots ( cost 1480 boots , chainmall , blades of attack ) RECCOMENDED
+6 Armor
+18 Attack damage (Melee)
+12 Attack damage (Ranged)
+15% Movement speed

Power Tread ( cost 1450 boots , glove of haste , belt of giant strenght / band of elvenskin / robe of the magi )
active: Switch Attribute ( can change to +10 strength /agility/intellegence )
+20 Attack speed
+15% Movement speed

( you may wonders why i suggest phase boots than power tread instead ? here the answer : you wont meet a same hero to against with in every single match ofc , you need durable item to survive on your line early when you meet harder enemy such axe , or tide or maybe underlod etc. its give you +armor +damage , it will really really helpfull )
and buy 1 blight stone its help you farm better

after you get on level 6 with help from your teammate should be ez kill
get a vladmir


Vladmir's Offering ( Cost 1925/525 recipe , ring of bassilus , mask of death )
Grants lifesteal (15% for melee heroes, 10% for ranged), 1.5 mana regeneration, 15% bonus attack damage, and 4 armor to nearby allies.
Radius: 1200
Lifesteal (Melee): 15%
Lifesteal (Ranged): 10%
Attack Damage Bonus: 15%
Mana Regeneration Bonus: 1.5
Armor Bonus: 4
Aura Linger Duration: 0.5



then desolator
Desolator ( cost 3500 2x mithril hammer , 1 blight stone )
passive : corruption (Your attacks reduce the target's armor by 7 for 15 seconds )
+50 Attack damage

with massive damage and can make your enemies armor (-)
its mean more damage output from your hero to enemis = ez kill
im not reccomend to buy battle fury cause it waste your money on early its useless when you want end the game faster , but if you can farm well got alot money and dominate your lane its fine to build battle fury

after that is up to you to build item which suit your hero nicely
like black king bar
Black King Bar ( cost 4050 mithril hammer , ogre axe , recipe )
active : Grants Spell Immunity and 100% Magic Damage Resistance. Duration decreases with each use.

with spell immunity or anti magic damage its make you free hit the target
but duration of bkb is decreasing /use like 10 sec to 9sec/use till 5 second

or skull basher then make it abyysal blade Cost 6650 (1550 recipe) Skull Basher , vanguard , recipe )
Active : Overwhelm ( Stuns a target enemy unit for 2 seconds. )
Passive : Bash, Damage Block ( Grants melee heroes a 25% chance on hit to stun the target for 1.5 seconds and deal 100 bonus magical damage. Bash chance for ranged heroes is 10%. )
+10 Strength
+250 Health
+10 Health regeneration
+25 Attack damage

and if you feel you strong enough replace vladmir`s with satanic
Satanic cost 5300 morbid mask , reaver , claymore
Passive : Heals the attacker for 25% of attack damage dealt.
Active : Increases Lifesteal percentage to 200% for 5 seconds.

always aware of missing enemy or dark side on mini map
cause you never knew enemies try to gank you or your team
if you die , you waste times to farm
make sure after winning a clash or more , push the lane
give your enemy a pressure dont let them to move forward
