Giant flying boat Mk3 (stock)

Description
Inspired from the real aircraft Kalinin k7 and Savoia–Marchetti S.55/S.66.
(actually more like the unbuilt Conroy Virtus and Myasishchev M-90)

This vintage looking flying boat is designed for transporting oversized cargo and flying at very low speed, so that it is not sensitive to the aerodynamic shape of the cargo and can safely land on water.
Also, it can be modified to a crazy airborne artillery platform thanks to its massive take off weight.

Parts: 747
Wingspan: 84m
Take off speed: >40m/s (no cargo)
Safe speed for landing on water: <50m/s
Ferry range: 4400km (internal fuel only)
Weight: 433t (203t fuel)
Max take off weight: 700t (lower if with high drag cargo!) (a little heavier than a An-225.)
Gantry crane lift weight: <300t

Tips:
Kermans can enter the plane inside the landing gear bay.

it's often hard to reach enough take off speed on water with heavy cargo, one way to deal with this situation is to add more elevators to get higher pitch momentum in order to leave water with high AoA and lower speed, then the plane can further accelerate without the drag from water.

1: toggle landing gear bay
2: toggle engines
3: reverse thrust
4/5: trim, pitch down/up
abort: toggle crane

i don't remember now, it didn't take long to build, but tooks me quite long to fix a roll reversal problem because of too much wing twist and figure out a explosion problem when undock

how long did it take you to build it?
