Full Loot

Description
Ever wish traders would drop their full inventory on death? Full Loot is here to break save the day!

Features:
  • Every character fully drops all their loot. Traders drop their full trade treasure.
  • Gold amounts dropped from traders can be balanced. Defaults to 1/4 of the original amount of gold (can be disabled in the settings menu).
  • Equipment (Armor/Weapons) can be configured to drop, though this isn't fully recommended, as many NPCs have equipment not meant to be equipped by players.
  • "Full Loot PVP" can be enabled, allowing players to loot players from other parties when dealing the killing blow.

Important Note for Looting Traders
I recommend opening a trade before deciding to kill a trader. This is needed to flag a trader's inventory as being "generated", which skips re-generating it when they die. This is especially needed for existing saves, as even though their treasure was generated, Full Loot has no way of knowing, since it was added after the fact.

If you kill a trader before their trade inventory spawns, Full Loot does a gold value check to try and determine if they have trade treasure, but this isn't full-proof.

Settings Menu
When Full Loot is active, a settings book will be added to the host character upon loading a save, or when the game is started in a non-lobby/Character Creation level.

Additionally, this menu can be accessed from LeaderLib's Mod Menu.

Balancing
There's a reason Larian doesn't drop a trader's full inventory on death - it makes gearing up incredibly simple! Additionally, traders tend to be simple civilians that are quite easy to kill.

Regardless, do consider enabling a gold balance option in the settings menu, as that allows some form of balancing the otherwise incredibly powerful option to kill all traders when leaving an area for good.

Traders can also be made more difficult, and can optionally have a posse of bodyguards that spawn when attacked by players.

Support
If you're feeling generous, an easy way to show support is by tipping me a coffee:

I've never played without it. I like it, but I'm pretty sure it only affects sellers. And by extension, if you kill someone that might have a bowl of food you'll get it. I've definitely never gotten the cool shiny thing they died holding, or full armor and weapons from an opponent.

if it says "we were unable to create a working story" does that mean i fricked up the mod order, or that my mods are having a conflict and one of them isnt working?

@specopsbarton That's literally in the basic game by default.

Just what I was looking for. Also i'm not to worried about balance. Larian broke that themselves when they allowed the farming gift bag thing, And infinite supply of herbs you can make as much as you want and buy every npc's entire inventory AND all their gold.

I've noticed that most NPCs don't have additional equipment that they wouldn't drop normally. How does "looting equipped items" work?
