Medi Gun Choice

It´s been a while since I made a TF2 related , so I have decided to make another one ! Ladies and Gentlemen , dear players , today , I bring you another TF2 guide related to a Medic , Medi Gun Choice. ( And yeah , I´m late. )
In this guide , we´re going to show :
  • Stats of each Medi Gun ( Medi Gun , Kritzkrieg , Quick-Fix and Vaccinator )
  • When to use each Medi Gun and why
  • General Tips related to Medi Guns

Introduction
Before you start hating this guide !

Before we start , please keep in mind that everybody can use anything he wants to. If you are going to hate this guide because of "Copying someone else" , then do it , but note that this guide is here to help new or midly - advanced players with playing medic and using Medi Guns. Just for info , heal rate of every Medi Gun will be shown in HP / s.
Thank you and now , without further a do , let´s get straight into it...
Stats of each Medi Gun





Stock Medi Gun
  • It´s a Stock Weapon , which means It´s really universal weapon and you can use it in almost every situation. You can´t really wrong with this "weapon".
  • Heals 24 HP / s when in combat and maximum of 72 HP / s when out of combat
  • Healing any teammate gives him +50 % HP bonus. This is called "Overheal" or "Buff".
  • If Medi Gun heals someone who is already wounded , It speeds up your Ubercharge rate. ( 2,5 % / s ) ; If Medi Gun heals overhealed ( or "buffed" ) target , It´s rate is degreased to 1,5 % / s.
  • After healing your teammates for 40 seconds , you can activate your "Ubercharge" , which activates 8 seconds of invulnerability for you and your heal target. Keep in mind that while Ubercharged , you are not imune to knockback , so watch out for pyros!

The Kritzkrieg
  • Kritzkrieg has +25 % Ubercharge rate , which means you can fill It´s Ubercharge in 32 seconds instead of Stock Medi Gun´s 40 seconds
  • Heal rate is similar as a Stock Medi Gun = 24 HP / s in combat and 72 HP / s out of combat
  • Overheal is same as well = +150 % HP bonus. This is called "Overheal" or "Buff".
  • Ubercharge rate is increased by 25 %. As I have mentioned , Ubercharge can be ready after 32 seconds of healing your teammates.
  • Kritzkrieg´s Ubercharge gives you and your patient 8 seconds of 100 % guaranteed critical hits.

The Quick-Fix
  • This Medi Gun heals players like Usain Bolt sprints ( Note of a creator. ). Also , this Medi Gun allows you do reach the top of the skybox , because you can jump with your fellow soldiers or demos and also , healing a scout makes you run like after watching 10 hours of "Gotta go fast" ( another note of a creator. I´m a dumb. )
  • Heal Rate of Quick-Fix is increased by 40 % = Heals 33,6 HP / s in combat and 100,8 when out of combat
  • Ubercharge rate is increased by 25 % = Uber rate is same as with Kritzkrieg. Your Ubercharge can be ready after 32 seconds of healing teammates.
  • The main problem with Quick-Fix is the overheal ( or buff ) is decreased by 50 %.
  • Ubercharge of Quick-Fix is called "Megaheal". When activated , It triples your and your patient´s heal rate and you and your patient are imune to knockback , stun and slow

The Vaccinator
  • Your Ubercharge is replaced by 4 mini charges , that can be distributed to multiple teammates. You can also choose the resistance by pressing reload key ( Default "R" key ). You can use Bullets , Blast or Fire resistance.
  • Healing your teammates give you 10 % resistance from selected damage type ( Bullets , Blast or Fire )
  • Ubercharge rate is increased by 50 %
  • Overheal Rate is slower by 66 %
  • Activating Ubercharge gives you and your patient 75 % resistance from selected damage type ( Bullets , Blast or Fire ) for 2 seconds and you are healed by 25 % of every damage your patient takes

When to Use Each Medi Gun and Why ?





Stock Medi Gun
Ubercharge is built to prevent lots of damage , so It´s good to use it on BLU side ( Attack ) or on defense when the attacking team has a base to destroy. Good thing to keep in mind is that every time you pop your Ubercharge to another else then your first patient you poped Ubercharge on you loose 0,5 second of your Ubercharge. I recommend poping early and flashing a few players so you can rush the chokepoint / control point / payload / enemy spawn / intel room and destroy everything you can. Stock Ubercharge is the most universal one and you can use it almost anywhere.

Use the Medi Gun when :
  • Your team needs to push forward
  • ( On Defense ) Attacking team has a base with a teleporter / sentry
  • You need to prevent big amounts of damage ( Destroying sentry nest etc... )






The Kritzkrieg
Kritzkrieg is a good choice for defending or taking the advantage. You can also use it when the enemy medic is building Ubercharge and he is about to pop it.

Use the Kritzkrieg when :
  • You are defending
  • Your team needs more DPS
  • ( On Attack ) Defending team has no sentries or nests and you just need to kill few players
  • Medics of both teams die , switch to Kritzkrieg and try to take the advantage that It has faster Ubercharge rate then Stock Medi Gun






The Quick-Fix
Ubercharge of Quick-Fix builds twice as fast as the Medi Gun does ( Doesn´t mean if your patients are wounded or already overhealed ) , which means you can get 2 Quick-Fix "Megaheals" for 1 Uber the enemy gets. Quick-Fix is really effective in games when you have 10 or more people to heal. All you need to know about using "Megaheal" is that you have to pop early , often and don´t be affraid of using it bad , because you are going to get another Ubercharge really fast.

Use the Quick-Fix when :
  • You have big team and you need to heal many players
  • You are playing gamemodes like KOTH or Control Points , where the enemy team has no sentries and you have at least 8 players to heal
  • You need to build up Uber really fast ( Quick-Fix´s Uber Rate is 50 % faster then Stock Medi Gun )






The Vaccinator
This is basically the worst Medi Gun in the game , which doesn't mean It's bad one. Ubercharge rate is increased by 50 %. By pressing your reload key , you switch between bullet , explosive and fire resistance. Vaccinator Ubercharge is split into 4 mini-charges that can be used to block specific damage source. Ubercharge provides 2,5s resistance bubble , that block 75 % of damage taken from selected source and 100 % crit damage. When healing a teammate with this medi gun , you and your patient both gain 10% damage resistance from selected source.

Use the Vaccinator when :
  • There's a hacker in enemy team
  • You need to block specific damage source
  • Countering Kritzkrieg , any other crit source
General Medi Gun Tips
  • Try to survive - I know being a Battle-Medic is real fun sometimes , but If you want to really help your team with Ubercharge , try to survive. Strafe to the sides randomly , crouch-jump and keep moving. Also , spycheck your back very often !
  • Mask the Uber ! - This strategy was explained in my Advanced Medic Guide , but what this is : When you fill your Ubercharge to the maximum ( 100 % ) , Medic will scream "I´m fully charged ! " and the problem is that anyone can hear it. If you want to mask your Ubercharge , simply press "E" key when you hear full charge voice line to interrupt it.
  • Heal Everyone ! - This tip can be useful for new players. No one likes when he has 5 HP and Medic doesn´t want to heal him. Keep in mind you need to prioritize teammates that are under fire , but also , don´t leave wounded ones behind.

the Vaccinator is one of the strongest mediguns if the medic knows how to handle it.
I've seen cases where a single skilled heavy/medic pair with the vaccinator would just prevent the enemy team from winning on pubs.

what the fuck is that line about the vaccinator? Why even start writing a manual if you're not competent at all? Dislike.

+50% bonus hp* would be the correct way to say it, or 150% health when overhealed, +150% bonus, would mean 100 hp turns into 250 hp and not the 150 it would be (as an example)

just pointing it out, other than that well done putting a lot of info of everything into this.

Vaccinator is the best Medigun in pubs if the Medic knows what he's doing
