Description
Vanguard Frontliner: full rework for the Musketeer
A complete change from scratch was made to provide a new flavor to this class. The old version of the musketeer was simply a re-skin of the arbalest and that was kinda unpleasant, so I decided to provide huge changes in her playstyle in order to make her unique from the rest of the cast.


Changes made
  • Mechanically changed from standart to mode-based class (similar to the abomination)
  • All skills were reworked
  • Base stats were re-adjusted
  • Some sprites, fx and sounds were changed in order to fit the new changes
  • Some trinkets buffs were re-adjusted (minor changes)



Brief overview: The Vanguard Musketeer

  • Primary Stress healer
  • Passive damage dealer enabler (Reflect Damage and Riposte buffing)
  • Puller
  • Secondary Guarder

Playstyle overview
The Vanguard Musketeer is a powerful but risky frontliner who requires the help from tanks in order to provide her utility correctly. She also provides additional guarding when needed is there's another powerful healer in the group as well.

Her main role synergies with big HP allies who receives all damage instead the musketeer and reflect that damage onto her enemies. This behaviour will also be provided to anyone else who is guarding (herself as well) thanks to her Crit Buff.
The musketeer can switch within her two modes (Auxiliar / Vanguard) to changes the effect of which skills you equipped her, thus how active/passive she becomes based in which way you're using those modes.

Be careful using this unit, since her positioning force using her in the frontline for effectiveness which, added to her low HP, can create risky situations for your group.


The musketeer loves groups which can play more defensively.

Synnergies pretty well with Lepers and Beast-Abominations



Skills v2.1.4:

Vanguard
The central pilar in the Musketeer's Kit. Its main purpose is to switch within modes (like the abominations). Allows using skills with (V) in their names and the secondary effect of the rest's kit.

(V) Open Fire!
The musketeer opens fire aiming to weak points ignoring any kind of protection.

Army Discipline
The musketeer will tranquilize her group using moral speeches.

Quick draw
The musketeer pulls out quickly her pistol in order to surprise her enemies with an unexpected shot.

The musketeer creates a distraction which force the enemy running to off-position.

Phalanx Formation
The musketeer encourages her group in order to perform more defensively.

  • Buff +healing received while guarding (self)
  • Buff Reflection damage while guarding (self)

Side Note: this guarding effect will not be removed by using Vanguard not by shooting the Musket



(V) Cover Fire
The musketeer fires with all she has so lucky she can hits something.

CRIT buff effect:
Buff groups Reflect Damage (rounds)


Passives:
  • Skillful (5): The musketeer can use 5 skills at once (since Vanguard is an obligatory skill to be equiped, one additional skill can be equiped additionally if desired)
  • Recoild: After shooting with the musket: -ACC until Vanguard is removed



Troubleshooting
This mod changes everything with the Musketeer, so the transition for old musketeer could come with some problems. Re-starting the game should fix this problems.
All skill will be locked again since her new skills doesn't share the same ID than old skills (must be unlocked again in the Guild)

- This mod isn't compatible with others mods which changes the musketeer class. If those mods are necessary for your playthrough netherway, is recommendable using this mod in higher priority levels.


Feedback required
Feel free to provide some feedback for this mods. This rework was made and tested by me, which means the testing was made only by one person thus some parts of the class can be unbalanced, so anyhelp provided will be welcomed.

怎么说呢,原版虽然没有特色,但是标记队的强度还是有保证的,这个更改有特色了,但是我感觉还没有原来好使了,原来是一回合内,队友打标记,起码就可以保证一回合死一个怪物的节奏,这个修改一开始很惊艳,但是实际用了一阵子觉得没有原版的好用,他首先是没有自己增益的BUFF,在没有队友辅助都情况下保证不了伤害,但问题是队友辅助肯定不会优先选他,他自己本身的辅助技能也没有什么突出的地方,回压力回的太少,而且回血也不能治疗流血或者腐蚀,作为前排辅助给队友的BUFF也不行,我知道原版也没有这些,但好歹原版在标记队里有伤害啊
我原先想的可能是原版火枪的PLUS版本,比如绷带回血可以治疗流血,或者增加点自己位移的技能,以及小手枪可以改成反击,或者像一些MOD里增加贯穿伤,而不是一个像现在这样的前排辅助

She lacks a proper move on Auxiliar mode, or some boost in base damage. Group stress heal is all well and good but only when u need it. Quick draw dmg is lower than average even against stunned enemies, +230% dmg mod on top of -75% base dmg multiples to 80% or so. I fully understand that it's supposed to be a downtime every turn in between two +20% base dmg armor piercing attacks. But when you compare it to shieldbreaker's piercing skill, you'll find that open fire is only slightly greater in dmg while lacking a bit of accuracy, not to mention the target positions.

ha vuelto el modo guardia que gustaba, gracias
aunque encontre 2 bugs un poco extraños, a veces open fire no aplica el debuff de precicion y covert fire aplica el debuff a la resistencia al aturdimiento aun cuando no impacta
sigo el mod con esmero y te avisare si encuentro bugs

PD: me eh dado cuenta que cuando se me suscribo a este mod dejan de generarse mosqueteros, revise el .info y la generacion esta en "false" y eso impide que se generen, no se si solo sea yo

sobre que es la version mas gustada es por que era la version que todos conocieron y amaron, al cambiarla era obvio que no se sentiria como antes y al no sentirse que era como la encontraron no gusto tanto como la primera vez, con balancear un poco el daño, curacion de estres y reflexión de daño debería estar bien

@yddgra estuve intentando una idea parecida a lo que mencinas sobre la guardia dandole como 20 rondas, pero en la segunda (y consecutivas) guardias que podia hacer tras los primeros disparos (-% de guardia recibida) la guardia acababa durando casi nada si habias disparado mucho. El problema es que la tooltip esta medio glitch y lo muestra erroneamente asi que decidi descartarlo. De la forma en que me lo recomiendas, pese a que es una idea genial, no es precisamente posible ya que el juego no permite mucho con lo que nos ofrece.

Sobre su poder de ataque... la diferencia es que antes era mucho mas inconsistente, pero su poder sigue siendo el mismo (o inferior en comparacion a v1.3 tras esperar algunas rondas).

Posiblemente revierta a la version anterior, que aunque sea mas compleja si es mas interesante de jugar pues valdra mucho mas la pena (ademas que es la version mas gustada)

pd: como decidas hacerlo esta bien, es tu mod y supone que te sientas satisfecho con el, pero mencione esto por que senti que pisaste el acelerador a fondo con eso de ponerla mas en peligro y a mi en lo personal me hubiera gustado que se quedara con la guarda mas larga por su bajo hp y baja evasion

con esto te recomendaria una cosa, no cambies directamente el estilo a guardia/tiro y se acabo la guardia, no se si sea posible pero si puedes hacer que la guardia se rompa sola si el que la hace llega a cierto punto como 40% puntos de golpe seria un "ya no te cubrire mas" quedando expuesta, y mientras este en guardia vaya perdiendo un 20% (-1% al penalizador por nivel) de daño en vez de precision, esto representaria que el cañon sucio empieza a no quemar toda la polvora y pierde potencia, ahi seria cargar (sus movimientos en aux) conservando el estilo tiro/carga, proteccion y asi no quedaria tan a salvo ni seria demaciado op

el peligro real en el que esta clase esta es estar en linea frontal, recibira la mayoria de los ataques pesados y quick draw no da suficiente abasto como para ser un ataque "basico" osea la fuente base de daño, y darle penetracion a open fire le da mucho poder, si sientes personalmente que esta muy a salvo es precisamente por eso por tu estilo, ya que mientras que una clase pueda hacer una cosa, hara muchas mas en manos de quienes la jueguen con otros estilos (tal vez no esperabas escuchar esto pero yo le ponia un item de curacion de estres), por ejemplo esta el flagellant, puede ser un dps y para eso esta pensado, pero y si lo colocas al final atras y le das items de curacion? yo lo hago y creeme es un curandero de miedo con la regeneracion y su skill de curacion, sin mencionar que cura cada que llega a las puertas de la muerte.
