@WaxxFetish dont worry, you're completely fine without chain reaction and all the better for it. The build's WAY powerful than other builds if not at least more convenient. Slow Hand allows for general aiming and arriving to the same outcome: solid damage w/out worry of crits.

And the healing effect from the Slow Hand (as with many moxxi weapons) applies to ANYTHING you do. Which is why i like grenades so much (as explained in the video). So as long as the damage comes from you period, you will heal from it.

Well for Unstoppable force, i honestly can't speak from experience too much on it because i havent played around with Gaige much, but I do know it's a no-brainer for Maya since this shield being up is priority-one.

It's gotten to the point where this is the normal build I use now and ran through Torgue's DLC w/no issues except with that damned Blimp....-_-''

Yes, I've noticed the general lack of bullets on the build and your explanation for ditching chain reaction makes sense. I'm so used to the buff on immo I just feel powerless without it :P

I wander if i have understood you correctly - is the Slow Hand healing you on every applied DoT or only on DoT's originating from Slow Hand projectiles ?

Regarding Inertia, I didn't check how it works on Maya, but I've tried the Unstoppable Force once again, and these two have a very similar description. I also expected it to be a buff, something that improves on your current capabilites.

Unfortunately it's not how it works for Gaige - it actually replaces what you already have with a recharge rate determined by skill level (ca. 4 seconds period). Still - it seems good for this Maya (all absorption shields in fact), but would be self-sabotaging for amps and roids.

@WaxxFetish (comment continued from previous one)

And for inertia is there for the simple fact that if your shield gets depleted, you don't have to wait for it to recharge. It's constantly recharging and that way you'll almost always be able to instantly recharge via Slow Hand. However, with Gaige, I honestly wouldnt know if Unstoppable Force would hurt per se...I doubt it though since it's supposed to improve recharge rate and cap at regular recharge time in regards to the slow side. So I think that's a skill i'd be likely to take.

Thanks for the comment :) & i hope that helped. If you got other suggestions, etc, lemme know

@WaxxFetish love the username btw, but the reason we don't have chain reaction (as stated in the video) is because we will not be using bullets and if we do use bullets, it'll most likely be while foes are slagged after the fact (when phaselock just ended).

Also, immolate, though a good, underrated skill isnt necessary. Like in the vid, when played properly you won't die, but it takes a bit of time...BUT we do not plan on dying much if at allk, so immolate doesn't make much sense if we're gonna be alive. That's the point of the build.

Phoenix, a skill I typically skip is because we're gonna be in opponents faces a LOT. Almost half the time. Slow Hand gives healing not just for straight damage but for status damage too, so getting a DoT off (no matter how small) will help.

Hey, first of all kudos for the build.

Gave it a run and it is really good, maybe that's because I love the Slow Hands since day one, thus finding the proper distance was easy.

Anyway I'm all after doing something new myself. I must admit that you've invalidated my views on Backdraft, still - I can't really understand taking Cloud Kill and Blight Phoenix instead of Chain Reaction / Immolate.

What's more important is the Inertia thing. I'm troubled by similiar skill on Gaige BFF tree, it's called An Unstoppable Force. Isn't that skill actually crippling you recharge rates ?
