Description

  • Completely Scripted Setup & Rounds (loosely based on this mod using the P.A.D.D. from this mod). See below for more details.

What you need to know about the script
  1. Clicking "Skip" skips the entire scripted setup
  2. Headers are clickable! They provide tooltips if you need help using the P.A.D.D.
  3. Samurai cards (if selected), geisha, annexes, watch patrol, and placeholder counters are all scripted to spawn.
  4. Non-color/player objects will be deleted.
  5. Turn tokens are randomized. Turns are broken on TTS so those will have to be set manually.
  6. Replenishing the market is automoated.
  7. Prep phase is automated.
  8. Discardable items: All cards, blessings, money.

@ZombiEd Totally see what you're saying. The varying lengths of the game arn't a part of the original rules [boardgamegeek.com] but a part of the deluxe rules [boardgamegeek.com]. So, in my mind, the deluxe yedo scripted mod (whenever that comes out) should include varying game lenght, but I won't be including it in this "traditional/original" scripted yedo mod.

Actually, for my question you don't need the deluxe assets. All I was asking was in the set up rules, it's recommended that your first game go just 6 rounds instead of 11. So the no patrol token that is fixed on your board at round 11 be just allow for that. But it would require mods to your set up script and to the script that controls the movement of the patrol.

@ZombiEd and Mitch2527 I unfortunately don't have a copy of any of the deluxe assets including the rules so I won't be implementing them on this mod

Any way to adjust the number of rounds? A quick game is only 6 rounds instead of the default 11.

Hi again. I played the mod last week and noticed more scripting is broken now. You cant see the discard areas and buttons anymore. The add / lose prestige is gone too. Lastly the scripting breaks at the point of drawing starting missions. You cant get past that option.

Game finished and it was great. Something else to mention to you though is the black and red mission decks are both labelled "Very Hard Missions". Red should just be "Hard Missions" I believe. Thanks again for sorting so quick.
