Description
Game Description:
Now you can re-fight the battles that determined the fate of nations. Victories that strike like lightning, if you can win them--like the victories of Israeli arms in 1956 and 1967. Battles that were mammoth struggles for crossroads and passes and battles that were pinprick raids. The military forces of Egypt, Israel, Jordan, and Syria are yours to command -- Can you lead them to victory in the battles that shaped the Middle East today?

Twenty-four different game situations, tactical-level tank warfare, and a customizable map make up the flavor of the game. The geomorphic maps allow you to create hundreds of potential map areas (the Suez Canal and the West Bank are represented, along with other landmarks). Rules include (but are not limited to) roadblocks, minefields, electronic warfare, bore-sighting, and firing while moving. Avalon Hill Complexity rating - 8. Sister game to PanzerBlitz and Panzer Leader.

Mod Contents
This mod currently allows you to play the game on the 4 original maps (new format) with the 24 original scenarios plus 6 more scenarios and 29 additional maps from various sources;
Lebanon variant units and related scenarios are included;
New high-res counters;
PDF Rules and the Unit Function Sheets are on the table;
Custom Israeli and Egyptian dice;
Some Arab Israeli war music.

NOTE:
This mod uses Mangofeet's (here on TTS) Stack Exploder mod to allow players to right click on a stack of units to show them all and then replace them or move them.

Special Thanks:
Hats off to David Little (djlittle1960) on Board Game Geek (BGG) for his wonderfull new counters.
Many thanks to Ward McBurney and the rest of the supporters on The Imaginative Strategist (particularly Alan Arvold), who supplied the great maps herein. There's no better site to support the old classics of Panzer Blitz, Panzer Leader, and AIW IMHO. http://www.imaginative-strategist.layfigures.com/index.html
Bravo Zulu to Mangofeet (here on TTS) for his awesome Stack Exploder mod.
Many thanks to Tumba, here on TTS, for his marvelous ammo crates, dice, and dice tray.
Kudos to MadMark56, here on TTS, for his crate skins.
Cheers to Lily, here on TTS, for the ever awesome Kraken table.
Gratz to all BGG members for their continued efforts to provide images and resources to aid us in our TTS endevours.

Thanks for the heads up Crafunzio. I thought I fixed all my mods to do that, but I guess I missed one. I'll fix.

I noticed that I need to re-import the tokens as non-stackable objects for the mangofeet script to work apparently. Otherwise they do stack on top of each other perfectly when they are identical but the script does not work. Cheers :-D

Richthofen, thanks for checking. I tried again today and all worked fine. Must have been my "flaky" internet service the last couple of days.

Works fine at this end Mike. Try turning off your mod caching in the configuration menu and reload it.

I just tried loading this module as it was a favorite of mine from many years ago, however, I find that a large number of the assets are now missing. Many of the counters and maps are no longer valid. Can they be re-uploaded?

I only have the original counters boromir. I found these on BGG and decided to go with them as they are much better in resolution than anything I could find out there for the originals. The other two games in the series are here on TTS as well BTW. See the link above.

Classic Counters would be a cool addition.

However I do really like these special counters though,I noticed a seller from Canada selling them as countersheets on Ebay,do you have the physical counter set and are they as good as portrayed here?(I have the Board Game and the other 2 games in the series as well and think these special counters in physical form would be a great present for myself, thinking of ordering them.)

Thank you Sir. Yes, plenty left on my games shelf here that haven't been processed for the TTS yet :) Check out MadMark56's stuff as well (below) He's mostly SPI stuff but very high quality work.
