Emperor Maurice's Strategikon was the foundation of Roman military doctrine for the Byzantine era. Principle to this manuscript is the formation of the Imperial Tagma - Constantinople's professional core army - including the fearsome Cataphractoi. Legatum Aquilarum (L:"A legacy of eagles" ) is a small mod project focused on the Imperial Tagmata Regiments up through the late 10th century.

The mod introduces 14 new or updated units to theTheme of Sicily. Requires Age of Charlamagne DLC. If you want a Grand Campaign version, see the link above! The units are not fully historical (though each is based on at least several pieces of "historical" art) but seek to capture the unified "feel" of the faction.

There is a mod that uses AOC units and unit cards for the GC, I wonder if I may have your permission to incorporate your mod (and give you credit ofc) to add more Roman units to that mod?

There's a GC version linked at the top of the description that comes with a bonus unit - the Akritai, a versatile medium infantry.

Hello, your mods are great, but you could add the Klivanion to the elite units, I think it is the most beautiful and epic armor of the Eastern Romans, greetings
