Description
The Hydra is a hybrid anti-air, anti-tank artillery for the Astra Militarum. Its four plasma batteries provide a rapid fire cone of death to discourage any enemy advancement. Being adapted from the ubiquitous Chimera chassis, it isn't heavily armored and is meant to stay behind your own battle line. It is also adept at acting as a mobile turret that can hide behind other fortifications.

The Astra Militarum primarily uses three artiliery tanks:
The Basilisk - A long ranged artillery:

The Hydra - An anti-air and ground plasma battery:

The Wyvern - An anti-air rocket battery:

The Hydra comes in three paint schemes
Cadian Green for temperate worlds:

Tallarn Brown for arid or desert worlds:

Valhallan White for artic worlds:

Features:

• Four Plasma Turrets that are capable of shooting targets directly above, in front, or behind the Hydra (small blind spots to each side) - each one is labeled in the control panel for convenience
• A single fixed gatling gun
• A passenger seat (if you have to use it on the move, you can have a passenger be a gunner)
• A medic and cloning station as this is meant to behind the main lines, it should be a safer place to respawn
• Full amenities
• It is cheap to build so it can be left behind as a powerful turret
• It is small enough to be easily transported by capital ships and deployed where it's needed
• The rear door is latch activated - the signal logic works so it opens when both are green and closes when at least one is red

Requirements:

Level: 15

Iron: 444
Copper: 308
Silicon: 239
Cobalt: 16
Neodymium: 40
Sathium: 16
Zascosium: 132
Erestrum: 132

Notes:

• This is based off of the model from Games Workshop's Warhammer 40k universe - the weapon choices are more based on looks than staying true to the unit's capabilities
• This isn't heavily armored and is meant to be behind main battle tanks, preferably on a hill as it can't actually shoot over stuff - hopefully they make ballistic shooting possible...
• The artillery pieces look best with their guns at 45 degree angles, I save them as such, but sadly, you have to manually move them for each new spawn :S
